Very cool kit
VERY fun kit, looks and sounds awesome when it's running.A few things I learned building this:The wires are VERY THIN. The instructions tell you to route them around the screw holes because of this. Definitely be super careful with that. I accidently snapped one of the power wires, and had to strip and fix it.There are some VERY small parts in this kit. since the "body" is only 3" long or so, some of the screws and nuts are quite small, watch out for small parts and take your time. On the good side, almost everything is screwed together. I think only the "arms" and "legs" snap on.The wings are very delicate. If you have a sprue cutter, it's very helpful for cutting the wings out. (also great for the plastic pieces) Also, the tabs that are folded down to join the 2 wing pieces are very small and delicate.Everything else is very straightforward, if you're an experienced builder, the instructions are easy to follow. If you are new, just take your time, and you'll be good.

V8 powered bettle, love it
The media could not be loaded. Seriously, this model is full of detail and little bit of a challenge to assemble. Take your time and make sure to really pay attention to the correct places to trim off the extra plastic. The instructions are a little complicated in that area. Had to glue a few spots where I accidentally trimmed off a connecting point.

Neat and fairly easy to assemble.
Don't typically build models, but this one looked neat and wanted to give it a try. Had previously built a ROKR wooden music box so I had some familiarity with their products. This one is not wood. It is plastic. Overall the instructions were clear and easy to interpret. I followed them closely, didn't rush, and had no real problems with the build. Did it in an evening. Biggest problem was probably just the size of many of the parts... they are tiny. I used tweezers to handle the small screws and nuts. ROKR provides extras of most of the screws, nuts and gaskets. There are even duplicates of many of the parts. I purchased a pair of snippers which helped a lot when detaching the parts. Very little sanding was necessary. It functioned once assembled. Very happy with it. Would definitely recommend.

Get this for the nerds in your life
I got this for my friend who is a biologist and they loved it. They had a fun time putting it together. I think if you have young kids they wouldn’t like it as much as older kids though.

Alot of fun and nice operation
This was really cool and alot of fun to put together with my 13 year old son. Was able to teach him some basics of the engine while doing so. Really neat.
