Not perfect but an interesting option when hiking.
Used these water resistant socks with my Chaco sandals while trekking the Camino de Santiago where I encountered rain every day for two weeks. I would not call them “waterproof” but the do a good job of minimizing the amount water that reaches your skin. I must say they offered great cushioning. On a trail that is known to destroy feet mine faired well . One word of advice if you plan to wash while on the trail they will require more time to dry when compared to traditional wool socks.

Thought I would give them a shot. Not for me.
Run a little big, nice fit through the heel - lots of extra length. They are waterproof as there is a waterproof barrier between two cloth like layers.

Great products for the money
The socks are great for winter usage. I live in the mountains and the thickness is perfect. It is long enough so that you don't need to worry it is not warm enough. I love the waterproof feature of the socks as well.
