I haven't had egg white protein in a looooong time. It tastes just like I remember. Ain't no hiding this stuff in your smoothie. Hold your nose and chug it like a man! The company even tells you this under IMPORTANT INFORMATION. On the plus side its very smooth- not grainy in the least. It's also highly digestible. The only reason I took off a star is the taste. Edit 07/15: I've been grudgingly getting reacquainted with egg white protein. The ONLY reason I say that is because the taste is hard to swallow-but I think I found something that helps: hold your breath while you drink it and swish out your mouth with some water after. Follow with some peanut butter-it really does help. I love the way my body metabolizes this product or I certainly wouldn't go through the extra effort. I'm on my third month of ULC and having this product really helps me hit my macros. If you're a die-hard like me I hope this helps you out.

Taste and smell is horrible. It reminds me of the smell of fish food or something similar. However.... I’m giving 4 stars because I have trouble digesting whey and do plant protein during the day and this organic egg protein at night before bed. It digests great and helps me get my macro protein intake up.I usually take a bite of a half of a kit kat bar and then down this protein. You basically have to grow a pair and down this thing. I’ve continued to buy this product instead of the non organic one (even though it tastes better) because if I’m putting something in my body everyday I want it to be good for me.

This is my favorite protein powder hands down. Have enjoyed several bags since last year. Organic and non-dairy are extremely important to me. This powder dissolves easily without clumping up. I would describe the taste in water as mild -- not offensive and definitely not overpowering. Perfect for mixing into smoothies. Grateful for not allowing myself to be dissuaded by the negative reviews and giving this a try - Haven't looked back since. Thanks Julian Bakery!

I saw the comments about its taste but since this is the only organic option I could find so I decided to give it a try. It surprised me that the taste isn't all that bad. It definitely does not taste good but I could still handle it. So if you can handle the taste of raw eggs then you can absolutely handle this powder. Honestly it tastes even slightly better than raw eggs. It mixes pretty well too. Overall it's a great product and I highly recommend it to those look for organic egg protein source.

They flavor is terrible. I had this product before but the package was blue and it tasted good. This does not! I have used it twice with different smoothies and gross both times. I threw it out.

This product had a noticeable smell and taste. (The product is "unflavored") It was not a strong smell or obviously rancid, but the smell and taste were enough that I would not consume it further. I did consume two servings with no ill effects but still there was an unpleasant taste to the product that makes it suspicious.I regrettably waited too long to open the package and missed my chance to return it. I wrote a note to the seller letting them know about the smell and taste and received no response back.I had used another (unflavored) powered organic egg white which I liked and which had no unpleasant taste or smell, but decided to try the Julian Bakery brand because it was half the price. Unfortunately it ended up being of less value due to me being unwilling to consume the product. I'm also disappointed that I received no response from the seller.

Every time I order this it never has a scooper! I hate it for that reason but I prefer this protein over others. It is good on my stomach and I don't notice any taste when I mix it with cacao, honey and almond milk.

I previously bought the non-organic version of this product and thought it was great and flavorless. When I went to re-buy and saw an organic version, I thought terrific because I generally support those practices. However, I'm going back to the non-organic version and throwing the rest of this bag away (I only choked down 2 servings) because there is a very off-putting, funky, almost farm-like smell and flavor with the organic version. It is not flavorless at all. I gave 2 stars just because I appreciate the attempt at an organic version. But how did it go so wrong?
