You want and need peace of mind when you’ve got close to $5K of camera gear hanging around a couple of feet from the ground. I never felt entirely comfortable with my old strap and was always worried the cheap clamp connecting the strap to the camera would fail. Thankfully, it never did, but I worried about it constantly.The PD strap connections are really well designed and the camera attachments are really secure. The strap itself is well designed, comfortable and extremely easy to adjust. You can buy cheaper, but I think if you’ve laid out a lot of money on your camera gear, why skimp on one thing that’s going to keep your camera where it needs to be and not crashing down to the floor.

These straps are convenient, sturdy and beautiful. I trust them with my Leica.

Seems a vast improvement over my original Peak Design Camera stop (original offering very long ago). Strap is wide and long (but not extremely long). What I like the most on this new on is the locks prevent the strap of extending beyond what you set it too.... the original Peak Design Strap would slide and extend the length of the of the strap after being locked in place.One thing for sure, they are durable and strong. Oh yes, and the snap on clips (a Peak Design are great). It is very secure and very easy to remove strap from camera without issues.

However, a minor quibble with the adhesive and a hefty price tag prevent it from achieving true greatness.This strap is a dream to adjust. The sliding mechanism is incredibly intuitive, allowing for quick transitions between shooting styles. The materials feel premium and durable, promising years of reliable use. The clever anchor system is also a standout feature, easily attaching and detaching from your camera without fuss.Where the Slide falls short is in its value proposition. While undeniably well-made, the price is steep. Furthermore, a tiny amount of additional adhesive on the shoulder pad would significantly improve comfort and prevent slippage, especially during prolonged use. This seemingly minor upgrade would elevate the strap from "very good" to "unbeatable."In short: If you're willing to pay a premium for top-notch quality and convenience, the Peak Design Slide is a worthy investment. Just be prepared for the price tag, and maybe pack some extra adhesive to enhance the comfort. Four stars – a testament to its quality, but a slight deduction for the cost and the missed opportunity to perfect the shoulder pad.

Very good item

This camera strap is on the expensive side compared to many others listed on Amazon, but the quality and quick-release design set it apart and make it worth the price. It comes with several accessories that allow different options for attaching the camera strap to your camera. This made it easy to find my preferred attachment points for my Nikon Z 6II so that the camera hangs in the best position for me. The quality of this strap and its camera attachments assures me that it won't fail and drop my expensive mirrorless camera on the ground!
