Perfect bowl!
I bought the large single feeder 4000ml dog bowl and i cant recommend it enough its slim but sturdy wich is great doesnt take much room up at all which is why i bought it, i use the dog bowl which comes with the stand for water and bought a Caldex Classic Stainless Steel Non-Slip Slow Feeder, Large, 28 cm for the food which perfectly fits on the top of the water bowl without spilling water everywere, my little rottie pup is happy enough with this and also plenty of room for him to grow into!!

Caldex Single Feeder Stand with Bowl 300mm/1600ml
The Caldex Single Feeder Stand with Bowl (300mm/1600ml) is an easy to assemble, well-contructed and stable 300mm/12” high stand suitable for medium/large breed dogs (I have a collie cross and a Labrador and the height is perfect for both). Supplied with a stainless steel 1600ml bowl which fits securely in the ring, the stand does not take up a large amount of floorspace and the rubber washers on the feet ensure that it does not move about when the dog is eating/drinking from the bowl. Perfect solution for feeding your dogs if, like us, the vet has suggested raised bowls to ease pains and stretching. (As an aside I also bought the double feeder stand from Caldex which is also fit for purpose as while the dogs don’t mind sharing a water bowl, feeding them side by side would disturb canine harmony given one likes to savour each morsel while the other just hoovers his up and would happily finish his mate’s if allowed to get away with it!)

Disappointed
The only good thing about it unfortunately is that it looks like it’s a good size for my dog. The stand is very wobbly, as one of the legs doesn’t even touch the floor. The legs themselves are all the same height as I’ve swapped them around but it’s the always the same side that’s raised. It’s the base that is uneven. Several detaching and re-attaching of the legs later, the base is scratched where the legs slide on which I’m not surprised about as the legs don’t seem to fit onto the base that well. The rubber that sits between the legs and base has also worn to pieces very easily too. Lastly the base arrived with some scratches on.Really disappointed as I haven’t had much luck finding a good low-priced single feeder, and it seems I’m going to have to keep searching.

Great high feeder!
I bought this high feeder to compliment the medium 24cm slow feeder steel bowl by the same company. I initially bought the small high feeder but it was too small for the slow feeder. This 2500ml version is perfect for the 1700ml slow feeder and will either fit directly into the stand or placed in the bowl that comes with the stand. Like another reviewer I use the plain bowl for water and the slow feeder for my border collies food.Just a note that the bowl supplied with the stand is of thinner construction than the slow feeder but as long as it does it's job In not particularly bothered.Pleased with both items and so is my dog.

Excellent
Bought this for my 10 year old Golden Retriever with spinal arthritis. He is a big baby and was frightened of it initially, but with a lot of encouragement over a couple of days, he now eats out of it with no problem at all. For advice. If your dog is frightened and won’t go near it, don’t shout, talk quietly and confidently, feed a few bits out of the bowl with your fingers. I then placed the bowl on the floor by the stand, then over the next couple of days he came around. I kept encouraging him while he was eating, and he kept looking at me for encouragement. It’s so successful, I have now bought another as his water bowl and he had no problem drinking out of it. Basically, I’m very pleased and can highly recommend it.

Can't fault them.
I love the fact that my dogs can eat without having to bend their necks. Feel terrible that I never considered them before. (8yrs and 5 yrs) they have both contracted the corona virus and one now has protein deficiency despite being on probs the most expensive food and having now spent £1325 on vet fees (more to b done) I got these to help them feel comfortable eating. Please buy them. Yes the legs wobble a bit but even my 37kg and 40 kg rotties can't knock them over. The bowls are pretty thin in comparison to the ones they had but still good quality if washed after use and dried completely. Can't fault the items. I bought the medium for the food x 2 and the large for their water. Trust me my babies love them.

It's just great
Seriously it's a really good, sturdy bowl and stand. We bought two, one for each of our greyhounds. They used to use a double one but one of our dogs wolfs his food down and puts the other one off. The bowls are light, weigh the same and are easy to wash. As an added bonus the stands stack on top of one another (with the bowl out) which is very handy in a small kitchen.

Well made though not that stable.
Well made and holds the bowl very well. However having an American Bulldog X Boxer (Big Fella) he has knocked it over twice and now refuses to eat out of it.It’s not that stable when you have a hungry 7st baby wanting to get to his food.Nice design and finish is very good, however not that great for our lad :(
