I use the blender to make Flaxseed milk and vegetable soups several times each week. With the old blender, I had to cover my ears or use earplugs. I assumed I'd need to use the rather large blender cover that comes with this one. But in the many months since purchasing this one, the cover went from kitchen cupboard out into the garage for storage. It's pretty quiet even without it!I also like the control knobs, very-user friendly. To be honest, I've spent a lot more on blenders that weren't any better than this one.

I honestly love this blender but after a month of use it is starting to smell like a burning up motor or plastic. Very unhappy that something so powerful and nice is failing already.

The media could not be loaded. Whenever I read 2.5L capacity, I didnt think to realize how large this unit would be. For you margarita fans out there, this blender will be your dream come true (Especially Frozen). At 2.5L this allowed me to serve around 6-8 drink per container depending on the amount of ice I used. This blender powered through a HEAVY load of ice to where everyone thoughy it was going to get stuck and not be able to mix and blend everything properly. It "wowed" all the doubters and completely blended all the ice (was around 75% full of ice) in about 2 seconds. This blender has powered through EVERYTHING I have thrown at it. Frozen drinks. Thick sauces. Thick smoothies. Nothing stops its. And with this power, you would think it would be loud right? No. This blender is so Quiet. In my video you can hear my dishwasher in the background. This blender on low is as quiet as my dishwasher. So the covering container of the blender has noise reduction properties. It does this so well in fact that I would take a guess to say it reduces around 60-70% of the noise the blender makes. In my video I only blended water so that you can see the vortex that is created on the lowest setting of the blender, and how turblent and powerful the mixing action is at the highest setting. I am still absolutely amazed at this blender and would absolutely recommed it to anyone in the market for a large capcity blender, or as a gift for a wife, mother, or sister. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely buy again.

Blender doesn't have any suction cups on the stand, so when it's running at higher speeds, it has the tendency to slide across the counter top. No locking lid, so While operating, it vibrates the top of itself. The soundproof shield, is pretty much non existent, just for show and taking up extra space. Has a burning electrical smell while in operation, and pieces were literally falling off of it while in operation. Save your money, and purchase the real vitamin, or a ninja. It did get the job done, and made great smoothies though, you just can't walk away from it, and you have to hold it the entire time

I paid a LOT of money for this blender six weeks ago. This morning I was making a smoothie and the blade assembly came off when I started blending ... two weeks too late for Amazon's return policy. This is the most poorly made product I have ever purchased on Amazon. Do not buy!
