Does the Leaptek battery fit Makita model no. 6390D?

Yes the battery fits fine . I found it does not fit as snuggly in the charger for some reason but it charges the battery fine .

Can i use 3.0Ah instead of 1.3Ah as a replacement?

You should be able to it as long as the fittings are the same, the battery life will just be longer
