Very disappointed. On numerous fronts. *Update*
I really wish I had a better experience to report, since the earbuds are absolutely gorgeous. The problem is, they have to WORK. The Bluetooth connection consistency is positively awful. Walk outside, and the audio breaks up every few seconds. I have a TWS earbud set using the same Bluetooth version as this one and it works flawlessly (not quite as fancy, though). I followed the pairing instructions to the letter, so I'm hoping I received a defective unit, but Mees has absolutely no tech support. I had to contact an Amazon operator who could only initiate a return. In fact, no way to contact the manufacturer exists AT ALL.I have high hopes for this product, so I will go ahead and exchange through Amazon and update this review if it resolves the problem.Seriously though, the lack of contact with Mees is not cool. It isn't worth bragging about a product you don't support.---------------------------------------------------------------------------*UPDATE*iansean, the product seller, is affiliated with the company and reached out to me immediately. He volunteered to send me a newer version of the headset to possibly remedy the trouble with Bluetooth reception. Because this is outstanding customer service, I've changed my one star review to three. Hopefully this works out!*Revised UPDATE*After initially stepping in, the seller has not replied to any follow up contact and has apparently broken his promise to send a revision of the product to remedy the situation. This deserves not only a 1 star review, but a significant dip in seller rating.

Audio quality is really good. Audio lag while watching videos is horrible :(
Over the last year, so many true wireless earphones have surfaced its impossible to weed out the good from the bad. For the average person, most of them will suffice. For me, I'm a bit picky when it comes to good audio. I'm no audiophile, but I can appreciate and discern great sound, good sound, ok sound, and ugh thats horrible.I'm an iPhone owner, but I wasn't going to spend $160 on subpar earphones just because Apple blessed them. Earphones are first and foremost about sound. All the other gimmicky features like tap to sync and what not is nonsense if the sound quality is lacking. The goods:The Fit1 were the first of many headphones I received. I was immediately surprised by their audio quality. I knew any other units I ordered would have a tough matchup against the Fit1. I was right. After trying out around 7 or 8 other brands, the Fit1 really exceeded my expectations in audio quality. I don't know how they did it, but Fit1 get some incredible crystal clear highs. Most of the other brands I tried rolled off slightly above the mids and the clarity and crispness just wasn't there. Fit1 shined. The mids are also present and clear enough to enjoy great vocals. The bass was decent. I really wanted more bass. I think some of that had to do with a lack of a proper seal on the tip in the ear + the Fit1 drivers not pumping out low enough lows. The fit and comfort is pretty darn good. They are small and light and don't hurt my ears like others do.The not-so-goods:So I mentioned the lack of deep bass. More bass would be nice as it would round out the sound. The really not-so-goods:Here's the only MAJOR issue I have with the Fit1. I really wanted to watch video while wearing the Fit1. This was not even remotely possible. There is some serious audio lag. Probably close to 1 sec actually. This made it impossible to enjoy video while using the Fit1. I understand bluetooth has some lag, but I've got other bluetooth earphones that have little to no noticeable lag. This should not be an issue nowadays. I really wish MEES would address the lag issue because that would be the icing on this product.Overall 3/5 stars.1 star deducted because of the lack of (full) bass to round of the sound.1 star deducted because of the lag while watching video.I work around a lot of tech people who wear earphones during the day by the computer. We generally recommend tech to each other and our clients. I'd love to recommend these but most people also watch training videos and the lag would be unacceptable.MEES - any upcoming version 2.0 or similar with zero lag??

(Almost) Perfect For Motorcycle Riding. Stick Flush Under Earlobes, Have Good Sound And Long Battery Life.
⁃ If you want to know what exactly these Bluetooth earbuds look like and how they work and how they fit into your ear, go to YouTube and watch the exhaustive video by Skeptech TV on 'unboxing the MEES Fit 1 and first impressions.' ⁃ I purchased these Bluetooth earphones for use when riding the motorcycle. I use them underneath a full face helmet. I have used them on 4 different brand helmets, a Joe Rocket, HJC, KBC and Speed and Strength full face helmet. I would imagine a quieter high quality helmet like Arai or Shoei (so I hear) will provide more quietness and be better for the earbud sound output. ⁃ I wear noise reduction earplugs when riding anyway (due to ringing in my ears during and after riding) so I am used to plugs being in the ears and I am always aware of my surroundings on the road while riding. My awareness is actually heightened. ⁃ I had been struggling with finding my final destination when I would ride to unfamiliar destinations or places I had never been to before. I would have to get off the motorcycle and look into my phone and figure out the directions. If the directions were confusing or I read them wrong or missed an exit, I would have to get off the motorcycle again to look at the phone for directions. This can be frustrating, especially if you have to be somewhere at a certain time or if you come across the usual road closures and delays. ⁃ I had been looking for Bluetooth earbuds that would be very small, fit perfectly into the earlobe without sticking out and have very decent sound quality. These come as close as possible to what I was looking for. ⁃ Since the earbuds are always on as long as your phone's Bluetooth is on and they are out of their round black case, I don't worry about switching them on or off, especially when I have the helmet on. ⁃ Pairing them was easy and once paired work flawlessly. ⁃ I used the largest earplugs out of the 3 pairs provided so that I would have as much cover to the earlobe as possible to have good sound clarity. ⁃ I insert them into the ears, twist them in place and they lock onto the inner parts of the earlobe. ⁃ I then use a skull cap and slide the skull cap bottom band where it covers the earbuds. The Under Armour brand skull cap works best in my situation as it holds the earbuds in place, which is very important as they need to be as firmly in place as possible when sliding the full face helmet in. ⁃ I slide the full face helmet very slowly into place on the head, taking great care not to put the earbuds out of place. ⁃ Once in, they work as well as you would imagine. The sound quality is excellent, especially when you are riding on local roads with slower speed limits. The sound gets fainter as you get onto the highway. I usually pull over before getting onto the highway and add/increase the volume on my phone so that the sound is as crisp when I am riding at highway speeds. ⁃ The phone and Bluetooth exchange is spontaneous, (turn left on, e.g., Washington Avenue or Martin Luther King Jr Blvd is very accurate) just like you would be using the phone on a Bluetooth enabled car radio or player. You experience no lags because you are riding a motorcycle. ⁃ You can actually listen to your favorite tunes if you wish while using the GPS function, just as you would when driving a car. ⁃ I wish they would be smaller but this is just a small complaint. The sounds, even at highway speeds, are very good. I'll try and keep figuring out how to make them more clear but I am happy with their sound output as it is. ⁃ Sometimes, when taking the helmet out, the earbuds may be dislodged from the earlobes. So take the helmet out slowly and anticipate the earbuds. Place your hand below your ear so that you can catch any earbud that may fall off. They come off maybe 1 out of 20 or so rides. This inconvenience is totally worth it in my opinion. ⁃ Test them out in the parking lot so that you can be able to determine what volume levels you are comfortable with before heading out into the road. If you can, add volume just before getting onto the highway. ⁃ I tested them without recharging them and I estimate about 9 hours of play/use. This is very remarkable especially considering how small they are. If you are touring or traveling cross country, then when you stop for gas or rest, just put them into the charging case which also acts as a storage case. They will give you sound When in the case, they automatically go off. When you remove them from the dock at the case, they automatically turn on!- I had initially purchased the Losei Bluetooth earbuds for this purpose. They had okay sound quality but they stuck out of the ears and were not useful for motorcycle riding under a full face helmet, so I returned them. The sound quality for these earbuds is way better than the Losei and the longer battery life is a bonus too.*Update after 9 or so months.I purchased Comply Truly Wireless Premium Earphone tips to reduce the outside noise I got when I rode in highway speeds from these MEES Fit 1 earbuds. The Comply earphone tips work way better than the original silicone tips and I can hear the sounds/music/navigation turns better with these Comply earphone tips. There is still noise but the noise is reduced by half. Upto 80 mph, the sounds are okay. After that, there is a bit of noise but way better than the regular tips where the sound would become muffled. I am glad I upgraded to the Comply Truly wireless foam tips. Also, the earbuds still charge in their designated charger even with the foam tips on, so you don’t need to remove the foam tips.I squeeze the tips just before inserting the earphones into the ear (as per the instructions from ComplyFoam) and the foam expands once the earbud is in my ear.The battery charge holds for about 3 hours before you are forced to put them in the accompanying charger. This 3 hour period is way less than the longer time periods I experienced with the earbuds when they were new. I would still recommend them with the Comply foam tips for motorcycle riding.
