I am quite pleased at the quality for the low price. The metal and glass base looks a lot nicer than I expected and once set up it is compact but tall enough to light my bedroom well. Put in a Philips Hue Bulb, and the white shade lets me dial in all the bulb colors perfectly.Deducted 1 star because the shade does not really lock into the base. It just sits on top of the socket with no locking nut holding it down like a lot of lamps have. I think I will grab some blu tack putty to make it a bit more secure and allow me to get it perfectly vertical. The shade is designed so that a standard bulb comes nearly all the way to the top. Not perfect for Philips hue bulbs that mostly shine from the top 1/3. Still, in the location it looks fine and illuminates the full shade. So, 4 stars, an excellent value, but slightly wobbly shade without mods.

This lamp exceeded my expectations. I needed a small lamp for a side table and was looking for something modern/transitional and this lamp fit the bill. I cannot believe the price I paid (honestly, I would have paid a lot more for this look). The quality is fine especially for the very low price point. Please note the dimensions before buying; this lamp is quite small (I put it on top of a couple of books to give it more presence). Highly recommended!

Arrived broken, the lampshade was bent. Love the base but the shade is cheap.

Put this in my office because I hate the fluorescent lights we have there. Perfect! Looks great!
