Streetwise Venice Map - Laminated City Center Street Map of Venice, Italy (Michelin Streetwise Maps)

Even in the day of online maps, I still like to carry one material map, and in Venice that can be particularly useful since the online access can be spotty in the many alleyways between buildings. These are very easy to fold up and put away in my purse and are a great aid when you want to see the big picture of a place you're visiting.

Obviously, Venice is super confusing to navigate on foot. Sometimes your internet won’t work. You will be so glad to avoid the frustration of staring at your phone! Do it the old fashioned way and be independent!

The map and index are very inclusive. However the map is too small to find any place other than main attractions.

The may was very easy to pack and travel with and easy to read. A good tool to have with you when exploring the canals and small streets of Venice.

I have used Streetwise maps for years. I find they have the best detail. They are also very durable.

On positive side, sturdy laminated map, and able to find streets by looking them up on alphabetical list of streets. Also larger area covered than free maps given by hotels etc. On the negative side, print is very small, if use magnifiers will need them to read while on the move. I studied maps prior to arrival so I was somewhat familiar with were I was starting from.

We love these laminated maps! They are easy to read and small enough for a day bag. Helps to plan your trip. We usually section off the map into areas so we can see a lot of sights on particular days of a trip. Remember to never use your map out in public as it makes you an easy target for pick pockets, etc.

This map is a lifesaver if you actually want to get somewhere specific in Venice. We were given maps by the hotel and water taxi and in our guidebook (and had downloaded Google map of Venice) but this one was by far the most detailed and easy to use for those times when we actually wanted to get to a specific location or take the quickest route through town (not always recommended in Venice, where the point is to wander!).

Detail is good but isn't always clear: there are better maps.

I found the map far too small to read. Ended up getting map for 2 euros locally in Venice

I bught this for a friend, we have one already and wouldnt be without it when visiting La Serenissima
