I've used this to remove 2 Superstroke grips and 1 standard putter grip so far, and it's worked great. The Superstrokes have a hard rubber bottom edge that's difficult to work with, (my normal grip removal tool is just a bent in half wire coat hangar, and that doesn't cut it with the SS grips) but I was able to use this removal tool to remove them with no damage. Patience is the key word when using it, especially on putters, a little pressure, a little solvent, a little twist, a little pressure, a little solvent. Literally saved me the cost of 2 Superstrokes at over $25 bucks a piece already.

Super simple. Product is very easy to use. Instructions are laid out well. I was able to remove 9 grips and did not damage a single one. They came off easily just need to apply enough grip solvent to loosen the bond and slowly work the tool down the grip and around.

After using a coat hanger to remove grips for a year I finally broke down and bought one of theses.Took half the time and half the effort. It’s wonderful if you want to reuse grips

It will not work, at least I could not make it work, on super thick grips, like putter grips. However on normal grips it works great. You stick it in and add grip lube, rotate while pushing dry own, repeat till it’s all the way down and pull off the grip. Removed 3 grips no problem.
