A year back I had attempted to find a mermaid tail blanket for my girlfriend. The first one I ordered was compete garbage, thin, made of the crappiest yarn you'd ever find cleaning out your grandma's attic. On top of that it also didn't match anywhere near the pictures or claimed colours. That was the $20 ones.This time around the fleece interior, the crochet exterior and the nicely textured exterior made for exactly what I was hoping to find, in fact, this one matches the pictures from the other brands products better than their own damn products.Now my girlfriend is about 5'6, and slender and the blanket comes up to her neck without her feet popping out the foot hole. The tail requires an attentive aid to reposition with every movement because the tail doesn't want to stay fanned out but still. It's warm, it's soft, it's pretty. Boom, its christmas

I bought for myself to use at my desk since we now work from home. My feet get cold so easily and I find myself taking my socks on and off. This mermaid blanket is perfect! Was actually my daughter's idea. It has a small opening at the bottom, not a very big one, and it allows my tootsies to get a little air should they need it. I bought this back in winter and once I got it and my daughter saw how soft and comfy it was, she had to have one. So I bought her one for Valentine's day, as she works from home as well. We will be getting use of it all year round since our husbands keep the houses colder than we like in the summer and I just seem to freeze in the winter, even with the heat of our big wood stove. The little strap at the neck is very handy as it keeps the blanket from slipping. You won't regret this purchase! By the way, my daughter is 5'2 and I am 4'10, this blanket is MORE than enough to cover from the chin and have plenty of length past the feet for us.

You have to get this. Wait. Only get it if you are thin or small or a teen. Sorry it is kind of tight at the bottom and I am a petite woman, so it works. But I would hesitate if you are plus sized. I hope they come out with bigger sizes! Otherwise it's gorgeous. The material and the lining are so comfortable and soft. 11/10 for me.

I love this blanket. In comparison with other options on Amazon, I had to pay a bit more to get one with the fleece lining but I am cold natured and thought this well worth. The inside is incredibly soft and keeps me quite warm.It is also a great size. I am 5'8" and feel that the blanket was plenty long enough for my size.Update: Loved mine so much that I bought my sister a purple one and she loves it too. Same quality as the first.

I bought several different mermaid blankets off Amazon for my neices for Christmas. This one was by far the best quality. It costs more but is well worth it. Size is perfect. It's warm. Its well made. Ships fast. Great gift. My daughter in college wanted one so I just got on here to order another.

We purchased this for my daughter for Christmas and she has been very happy with it. The green color is nice and bright, with flecks of other colors mixed in. The lining is super soft and keeps my daughter warm at night. She wishes that the back was sewn all the way up, and since it is not it tends to slide or fall down. Aside from this she is very pleased with it, it is well made and worth the price paid for it!

Some blankets and another mermaid blanket I've tried are woven too openly and let the cool air in. This does not -- keeps my legs good and toasty, especially because it's snug at the bottom. However, I don't have to worry about getting overheated up top because of the sleeveless bib style which can also easily be folded down if I just want my legs warmed. A favorite purchase!
