TofurkySlow Roasted Chick'n, 8 Ounce (Pack of 5)

We love this meat substitute and have had to buy it from Amazon because it is increasingly difficult to find on store shelves. You can cook it as soft or as crispy as you would like to and it takes on whatever flavor you cook it with--very versatile. We eat it with tacos, over rice, in stews etc--there's no limit! The package comes in dried ice frozen and I defrost one pack at a time as needed--definitely worth the convenience.

This is one of the best pant base “ chicken “ I’ve ever tasted, but to pay over $9 for a pack that I can purchase in the store for under $4, is insane!

We warm the product up in a microwave and use it to accompany burritos, stir fry, or enchilada casserole. You can also marinate it in barbecue sauce and put it on Dave's Killer Bread for a killer (pardon the pun) barbecue sandwich. A most excellent plant-based chicken substitute that almost tastes better than chicken. Now, if you'll excuse me, I got to go make some awesome plant-based teriyaki stir fry (with Tofurkey Chicken).Enjoy !!

I discovered Tofurky a few years back and became immediately addicted. It is very versatile and has great flavor. Unfortunately, like one review said it is no longer available in stores that I have found. I am temped to pay $12 for an item I used to pay $4 for but I just can't.BRING IT BACK TO THE STORES!!
