High quality at a very reasonable price !
I am happy to write the first review for this product because for the quality of craftsmanship & materials coupled with such a low cost, these Oneida plates cannot be beat! I purchased 24 of the 10.375” coupe plates which come from the manufacturer pre-packed in a box of 12 each, and also 36 plates of the 11.00” that come in pre-packed boxes of 12 per. I searched not only Amazon but at least a dozen other web-sites about 3 hours per day for 2 weeks, reading reviews, researching the companies and the materials plus kiln firing processes for each. I had a total of 60 plates I ordered here and from all the reviews I read (hundreds of them) one of the outstanding complaints were the number of broken dishes upon receipt from delivery. I was expecting that to happen here with this order as a natural occurring event, but to my surprise, NOT A SINGLE PLATE had so much as a chip! All 60 in perfect condition ! Not too heavy and Not super light either, just right! The next test that I was most concerned with and was the 2nd biggest complaint in reviews was dishes that heated up as much or more than the food. I had been eating leftovers for 2 nights & using my 11.00” vintage “Sheffield-Strawberries ‘N cream stoneware,” Made in Japan in the 1970’s. With those plates I re-heated in the microwave for 3 minutes (1250 Watt microwave oven) and although I could pick up the plate by the rim I couldn’t touch the bottom. I did the same procedure with the 11.00” Oneida plate & was flabbergasted that I could immediately hold the bottom using the same leftovers!! I’m glad that I purchased 60 of them because like my old Sheffield’s that are still as solid since the day I bought them after all these decades, you never know when they will be “discontinued.” One last thing and I will make it brief: In all my research, the following is the order for quality or ‘best result’ in dish-wares/dinnerware from lowest to highest: 5) Ceramic, 4) Earthenware or Melamine, 3) Stoneware, 2) Glassware-like Corelle, 1) Fine bone china or Porcelain. Stoneware and Glassware are basically a matter of preference, depending on the quality of the stoneware and Fine bone china is usually made from cow bone and then kiln fired up to 2,350 where as porcelain is made from a special type of clay comprised of either Feldspar, Kaolin, or quartz which is stone harder than granite. I hope this review helps in your decision making. I am inserting the Amazon page link for the 11.00" Oneida plates on a different product page: Oneida Foodservice F9000000155 Porcelain Narrow Rim Dinner Plate, 11", Cream White

Great Quality, Amazing Price
These mugs are outstanding in both price and quality. They are not as white as they look in the photo, but that is a good thing as they are just what you would expect. Amazon packed the shipper's box in a box, which resulted in 5 mugs being broken in shipment. Amazon issued a full refund, but I feel bad because these are such high quality! For the price or otherwise, no other mugs in this quantity can compete.EDIT: I bought these mugs at $14.82, and they seem to have gone up massively in price.
