Husqvarna 450EII1850 SASII4501850 Gas Chainsaw

This chainsaw is awesome. I've had a Husqvarna chain saw since 1990. I didn't have any problem setting it up or starting probably b/c I'm an experienced Husqy user. I bought this saw b/c of the 18 inch blade. My old saw has 16 inch blade. Plenty of power on the first use and ran great.

I ordered this for my husband who already has 2 smaller chainsaws. He is totally in love with this one and said he'd never own anything but a Husquvarna again! Cut through trees like butter! Very well made and performs better than expected.I ordered it on a Saturday and it arrived on Monday!

Reliable saw. Starts and cuts great. Seems to leak chain oil after every use, even after relieving pressure in the reservoir. Not sure what the problem is with the leaking oil. Otherwise very happy with the purchase.

Please do not take this review wrong way. I don't want to mislead you in your decision of purchasing this saw. Chainsaw earned every single star. It is powerful and easy to start. I just chopped a tree 22-24" @ stump - not a problem, and this is my first time failing a big tree, I'm not professional. I highly recommend this saw for homeowners - you can't go wrong. Two tanks of gasoline and 1.5 tank of chain oil... And here is the truth about sellers - manufacturer's low ball. I believe they are selling model 450Eii as 450! According to my owners manual 450ii do have tool-less chain tensioner (see pictured part of the manual) but my saw model is clearly marked as 450ii and tool is necessary to adjust chain tension. As much as I'm impress with chain saw performance, I'm not able to let go sellers (or Husqvarna) dishonest. Once again - chainsaw is great. Even chain tension is not a big deal. All you need is included pipe wrench/screwdriver combo. Very easy adjustment and you will not miss tool less tensioner. No star goes to seller or manufacturer. Chain saw is 5 stars in my book.

Still excellent after a few years....for home. Starts on the second pull, good for old guys like me. The seasons change so I put it away for months and it will still fire right up.I still cannot file sharpen the chain right, seems it is no better when I'm done. Wish they had an AFFORDABLE way to get the teeth like new.I am very happy with it. Husqvarna got excellent reviews, why I bought it.

I was looking for a chainsaw that would be easy to start, and would be dependable. This saw met all my expectations. It is lightweight, started quickly and was easy to use.

It worked great out of the box, original chain it came with cut great but after some use it jamed the machine. After ordering another chain now it's shooting out oil but not cutting very well. I will try cutting up a tree next week but overall I'm not happy.

when it arrived the box was all beat up from shipping but the saw itself didn't have a scratch on it, i looked it over good as for this price 273 i wasn't sure what to expect, but as far as i could tell it was a new saw from the factory.no it didn't have the tooless tensioner on it like the one negative review said but really, for this price i don't care and while convenient it's not like I'm going to be out bucking tree and not have tools and wedges with me anyways.i put a 20 bar on this from day one, it started up 2nd pull from the box, it was more or less tuned properly and had no problem ripping through trees for the day with zero fiddling , i like fiddling though so when i got home i made a few minor adjustments but for the guy who just wants to open a box and start cutting it was fine and should get the job done....
