Not perfect, but getting close! 4.8 Rounded up to 5.
Not perfect, but getting close and I've not seen anything I feel is better yet.Pro's.1) As comfortable as my HTC Vive Pro head strap2) Internal battery remains at 100% for as long as an external battery is providing power.3) No wires dangling to annoy you or catch on things.4) When you get hot and sweaty working out, you can remove a tshirt etc while wearing the head set.5) Arms fold in middle which can facilitate putting headset on and off6) Battery super simple to swap or put on charge while wearing headset.7) 8000mAh battery is an excellent balance between weight and power duration. I don't think I would want a smaller one and the 26,000mAh I used in a bum bag for my HTC Vive Pro was a bit on the heavy side.8) Battery attachment is solid. Strong enough for any movement and easy to pull off to change.9) Can connect USB C to charge battery while attached, so headset also charges. I worried about plugging cable into headset multiple times a day, but now I never have a need to disconnect it from the strap.Neutral1) Battery attached both ways around. Provides power one way and not the other. You will only put it on the wrong way once before you learn to check the pings and the sound the head set makes when it gets power.Cons1) The battery does not beep when its almost dead, so you have to check it now and then2) While the internal battery does not go down when connected, it barely goes up either.3) Arms fold in middle with much differing resistance to each other and way different resistance from quest pivot point.4) No USB C power pass through socket on dock and only one socket on provided plug. I would like to have 1 battery on the dock and then attach a cable from the dock to the second battery while it remains on the headset. I have to use a separate USB C power brick, or my own one with 2 x USB C sockets.5) I feel the center strap is not as durable as I would hope, so I do hope I can buy replacements separately, but do not see it available, not even on the BINBOK site.6) I do not see spare batteries available individually either on Amazon or Binbok.7) Battery does bot pass data from its USB port to the headset. If you play pianovision for example, you likely want a midi interface plugged into the headset, but then you can'u use your battery. If you could plug the midi into the battery and have it pass through, you could play pianovision and have the battery powering the headset.

Excellent Quest 3 powered head strap!
I recently experienced this head strap for the first time at a friends house. It was my first time using the current quest 3 device. I noticed how comfortable it was to use the quest, even with glasses on. I went on to buy the quest 3 for myself, and proceeded to try many brands of third-party head straps to improve over the much-maligned stock head strap, which, as most people claim is close to unusable. I tried kiwi and two different versions of the very popular BoboVR head straps. Unlike many reviewers, I disliked the BoboVR M3 halo style head strap. It feels like your head is in a plastic nutcracker. Putting excessive pressure on your forehead. I was hoping to like it for the sake that you can use it without the facial interface when using mixed reality. While that worked, it just wasn’t very comfortable at all and I wasn’t able to maintain sufficient focus on the digital content so I called my friend and asked which head strap he was using and he told me it is this Bimbok powered headset. As it complete solution , I think it is the best that I have tried. While the kiwi is comfortable, it is not as clever as the Bimbok in terms of its hot swappable dual battery system. The Bobo Mini is also pretty comfortable, but it isn’t better than the Binbok which allows the hot swappable battery. So I will be sticking with this Binbok. It looks great. It’s easy to put on. The tightening mechanism works well. The headset is well balanced, and it provides plenty of continuous power when needed. You can also use it without the battery pack if you wanted to have a lighter set up. While this Binbok headset is not as popular as the BoboVR system, in my opinion I think it is a superior solution.I highly recommend it!

Caution when buying this . The batteries do buzz., but GREAT customer service!
I hate writing reviews so i'll keep this short. The battery buzz is LOUD and very realComfort wise, its good!👍 . I've got the official battery strap and that one has a swival (how ever you spell it) on the back pad that conforms to your head. Also the official strap just feels like its made of better and thicker material. Is It uncomforable? No, it's not, i won't lie, and the hinges do kind of make up for it. The hinges seem to be decent but i wonder how loose they will get over time. Mabey the Q2 owners can chime in on that.OH, lets talk actual charging the Q3 while playing... Yeah, it does, but the Q3 battery still drains under load. Its not bad, all in all you should get a lot more time out of these batteries than the official strap, which btw is not much better but at what price? And at what cost? The Q3 needs to have a high enough voltage input to keep the internal battery healthy, the Official strap has the software and hardware to deal with that, im not sure this one does and that buzzing noise does not inspire confidence . Note, this may not be an issue, I don't know for sure It may not damage your quest 3 but like I said it's something you should be aware of before purchasing.I'll contact the company and see what they have to say and update this review as I get new info , but as it stands i'm too afraid to damage my Q3 battery to use this bee hive battery. For now, its back to the official strap unfortunately ..... Nuts, i really wanted this to work, i genuinely love the concept but well... Nuts :/I'm going to investigate replacing the cells on this battery as I hear others have done that because honestly I really do like the design.UPDATE: Ok in my review I said I would update this after contacting the manufacturer or seller or whatever you want to call it. I'm increasing the star rating for this product for one reason one reason only. GOOD customer service! The seller offered me a more than acceptable remedy for my issue and asked me for some technical details regarding my experience so they can help improve the product. I gave him the details I had and while I'm still waiting for their second response and the remedy to actually materialize, the fact that they did respond and offer to take care of this for me shows that at least the company is on the up and up. Like I said the head strap itself isn't bad and I honestly believe that the issue is linked to the batteries themselves. The design of the product is an intelligent design and overall quality is definitely good for the price. Yes I still have the battery issue but I believe that they're going to start selling updated batteries for this at some point that will correct this issue and when they do I WILL be buying replacement batteries, yes I said buying because the remedy of the seller offered me will enable me to do that in order to break even. As far as I can tell these guys are okay to buy from, and it looks like their other products seem to be a good quality.Let's remember something guys, this is One of the first straps to come out for the quest 3, the quest 3 is definitely power hungry And they genuinely had no way of knowing that this was going to be an issue because The product came out and was designed prior to quest 3 going live so I can understand what happened here and like I said with the seller taken care of me I feel that it's fair.Be warned though the truth is this product as is will buzz at the moment with the current set of batteries, but that doesn't mean you should abandon the seller and possibly save this item for later once the buzzing is resolved and new batteries are released. And like I said some people may not mind this, they do charge the quest, they do allow you to play for a long time a lot longer than the normal battery strap, and a Bobo VR batteries are having problems too so it's not a problem you need to this company. Overall so far my experience has greatly improved after speaking to the seller.I'm upping my rating to four stars for this product ONLY because of the good customer service I received, or am planning on receiving from what I've been told I'll let you know if it all goes through.. well that and the fact that the rest of the strap is pretty good actually in general.UPDATE 2: So I took the chance and have been using this for the past two weeks with the battery buzz. So far no issues with the Quest 3. The batteries take a VERY long time to charge on all of my wall worts including the one that came with the Quest 3. I going to pick up a 30w charger today to see if that improves things. Other than that and the still present buzzing sound, it seems to be working fine. I DO like the comfort of this over the Official battery strap. Will update soonUPDATE 3: So a few things to report now that i've had the unit over a month.1. Upadate on the 30w charger. YES it make a difference when plugged into the dock. The dock now works as it should. For those of you having an issue with the batteries not charging on the dock, a 30w charger will solve this. PROBLEM: if this unit needs a dedicated 3w charger, you might as well add 20 bucks to the cost if you dont already have one2. Battery buzz, Well, its not good but i did start to get used to it. Having a fan on in the room helps ALOT: of course we shouldn't have to do this! BUT... on the filp side, you should be playing VR with a small fan running anyway to help prevent motion sickness and help you orientate youself in the room with your ears. TRUST ME, TRY IT!!
