Board is Twisted
The door is beautiful but one of the boards is twisted and needs removed and replaced with a straight board. Otherwise, it's not just ugly, it won't close correctly. We sure would love if the mfg would send us another board!

Nail heads
I would have given 5 stars if not for the nail heads. They are not copper as advertised. We opted to purchase ones that were closer to the color of what we thought we were getting. The lumbar is good quality.

Awesome door
So far so good. super easy to assemble. This weekend, 9-16-2023, I will add wood glue to it, use a clear polymer to protect it and buy the rail to hang it. I will upload a video once it is all complete.

If you plan to paint the door white, please read
I bought two of these doors to make a double sliding barndoor for my utility room, I was tired of the cheap, folding doors I had before. These doors are as described, they are well made. It would be nice to be a bit better sanded but I did do my own sanding with 220 grit and they came out nice. Assembly was easy, took less than 30 min per door. Then I air spray painted with matte white paint that I used many times before. but never on spruce... After the paint dried, I noticed a yellow coloring in the areas where there were some defects in the door. If you would just stain these doors or paint any other color than white, you should not have this issue. But the sap in the wood comes out thru the white paint and leaves an ugly looking yellow stain. You cannot cover this yellow color even with multiple coats of paint, I've tried already. I had to remove the paint in those areas and clean up and then use Bondo to cover up the big gouge that I made in the door. Using normal wood filler didn't work because the sap came thru the wood filler as well and it still showed thru the paint. The Bondo worked well. This happen on both doors and both sides of the doors, so chances are probably very high that you will find this kind of areas on the door that you will buy too. But if you see something similar, just clean the area and use the Bondo before painting and the door will look great and be very solid. Good luck!

Specific to the drop brackets style hardware
Does your hardware brackets come down the face of the door? These are for you. The pictures don’t show the holes.I had the top mounted style hardware.Solution? I put dowels in the four holes and moved on. 👍Get a nice rubber mallet for pounding the slats in.Nice wood.

Not bad and fun to assemble
Pretty much just as described and shown. Wood was good quality. Nothing warped. All pieces fit. Instructions are ikea like. Some parts poorly labeled. Some parts labels are not shown in the instructions. But it’s all pretty straightforward and easy to figure out, hence the fun. The three cross pieces are not interchangeable. Bottom piece is the one with the channel all the way across the bottom for the bottom guide. Top channel has one smooth side for top of door. Remember to match predrilled hole on side pieces for the hanging hardware (both on top obviously). Not sure point of foam on inside channels. I guess to stop any rattling of pieces but they hold the slats apart on final assembly and create a gap between side pieces and cross pieces. I left it since gap didn’t bother me on rustic look. I agree with others that included long screws are of poor quality. East to strip Philips head. I recommend starting them with a drill screw driver to about half way and finishing by hand with a lot of steady down pressure. Careful with the small screws. They can easily split the wood. Overall quite happy and would recommend.

Wood requires additional sanding and mounting holes at top do not fit all hardware.
Wood had minor cracks, warping and some marring requiring a definite back to door, make sure you inspect wood prior to putting together to determine best sides of each piecep. Prior to putting together I individually sanded each board with 150 and 220. You will need longer than 24 inch clamps and a mallet to assemble door as joints are very tight but door was reasonably easy to assemble. Mounting holes for barn door hardware were off so additional holes were needed, I cut a provided plug in half to fill additional holes. Door was painted with 4 coats anti scuff semi gloss and looks beautiful hung for our closet, excited to start on the next one.

Good door/gate
Great price! Great Value!I have been looking for a gate to keep the dogs away but couldn’t find anything reasonably priced, so I bought this door and cut it in half. Worked like a charm.
