Mad for Madhu | Volume 1: A Madhubani Colouring Book for Adults

I used to like coloring books, I got rid of this habit as soon as I was a teenager. They seem too simple and childish. My manual dexterity is much better than that and I figured I needed more complex patterns. I recently discovered this book on Madhubani Artforms. I really enjoyed thinking of color patterns and using them in the intricate design work. A truly relaxing exercise!

The illustrations are beautiful! I bought this for myself but my daughter has now claimed it as well!

I love this book! All the Madhubani art is gorgeous. I find it's very relaxing to color them, I have always loved the art from India, so I'm excited to be coloring these one of kind hand draw designs, the lines are very clean, I also find the pages to be easy to do but also some challenging pages to. I have recommended this book to a few of my coloring friends already. This book is Unique and so different then what's out there in the adult coloring book world. I was given this book for an honest review. I whole heartedly recommend this one, I have done two pages already and getting ready to do another. Happy coloring!

I received this adult coloring book as a gift and found it to be a great starter for me. I enjoy the relaxation of coloring and this book eases beginners, like myself, into building up my coloring skills before attempting to try the more difficult and detailed ones that can be overwhelming for anyone interested in picking this up as a form of relaxation.

Really enjoying colouring this one in. I get lost in the fantasy of the ancient tribes. While mesmerized by the uniquely Indian shapes and patterns. I'm so curious to see how the illustrations look in different colour combinations, especially compared to the tribal art form's original colour palette (yeah I've been doing some research into this!). I'm tempted to order another copy! *squeels in glee*

Its good to find an adult colouring book which is not just patterns... While colouring it you actually feel that u t bringing to life centuries old tribal art ... loved colouring each page... must buy if u r looking for a colouring book with a twist...

Great colouring book progressing from simple to complex Madhubani drawings. Certainly is a stress buster and a great means to improve dexterity and motor skills. A rather must for all ages. Patterns can be filled with any medium and the final painting can even be framed to adorne the walls of your home
