Kids First Set of 2 Pretend Toy Knight Swords for Boys & Girls

My almost 4 year old grandson and his big sister, 8 years old are having a lot of fun with this gift from their grandmother.I was a little unsure about buying swords, but they are short and plastic, therefore pretty safe, as swords go.

I bought these for my grandson....I might as well have paid $1.99 because that's about how sturdy these were. The first day the blade of one of the swords broke right in half and the second day the part of the handle that sticks out broke off the other. These might have been ok if they were never played with...or at least not played with by kids. I would not buy again. The plastic was extremely thin and easily broken. Too bad. That's a problem with online shopping, you can't judge the strength or value of something until you hold it.

I bought one for my granddaughter and one for my 65-year-old gentleman friend and they both loved them. Don’t ask..

The swords are perfect for my 9 year old who was looking for them to play with his friends. These look good and are fun. However, they are not as sturdy as other swords we have.

Of course it’s hard to judge a product by a picture, but these are a little flimsier than I had hoped. Plus, they were shipped in a box that was too small for them, so they arrived bent and a little warped. One of the swords is already broken because it’s really just cheap plastic, nothing very sturdy. But my son loves them, and they do look pretty cool, so they’ll suit their purpose for a time.

These worked out perfectly for our Peter Pan Halloween costume. One of the screws seemed loose but we were able to easily fix it! Perfect size for his small sword.

They are 24” with attached cardboard but were shipped in an 18” box. The swords are all bent and not useable as is. If the blades don’t straighten with books pressed on top they will be returned. They would be fine for a kid’s toy otherwise.

My son loves these for playing guards from Aladdin! Sturdy and a good size for little people! :)
