Great shoe
The media could not be loaded. Â I'm onto my 3rd pair of this model and will keep buying them as long as they keep making them.Fit: The toe box is a much better size for my wide feet. I personally find Vivo barefoot shoes to be too shallow and too narrow for my feet and they squish my toes. If you have the same trouble, Altra will work for you. (I also take the insert out for more depth in the Altra, but that's not necessary for it to be deeper than a Vivo shoe)Durability: A pair lasts me approx. 10-12 months of 40-60km week running before getting tears in the upper where it meets the sole around the ball of the foot on both sides (see pictures of black Altra's). The sole also starts feeling more soft and flexible which I don't mind.Sizing: If you have any Lems shoes, for the same fit, I rekon a US 9 in Altra is similar to a 43 in Lems shoes. On top of that they actually look good, unlike many other barefoot/footshaped brands who's shoes look really dorky. I have had 2 black pairs and now 1 white pair. I like the black, but the white looks a lot better in person than it did to me in the pictures.Video: Altra's aren't as white as when I got them because I've been running on dirt tracks.

Exactly what they are advertised to be
While there are many reviews which identify these as needing more cushion, a more flexible sole, a larger stack height, not being comfortable for running, that is not what these are designed for. This is a responsive shoe that is ideal for gym workouts. If you are a person who works out and performs lifts but might also do sled pushes/pulls, box jumps, burpees, step-ups, that is what this is designed for. This definitely is not for the power lifter who needs something with an extremely firm sole for heavy squats/deadlifts and does not participate in those other activities in the same workout. This also is not the correct shoe if you want to go running multiple miles after your workout. Yes you can easily complete sprints or stair climbs in these but they would be my last choice for jumping on the treadmill. I would bring a pair of running shoes for that. From a fit perspective I find these to be the closest to my Escalante Racer. The back is tight against the heel and the achilles while the upper is very light and, I find, I do not have any hotspots. Of course that is specific to you and you might need to change your lacing strategy to alter that. I also found that the same size I wear in my Escalante and Escalante Racer were perfect for this shoe.

Just needs more durability...
For the money I guess I expected more durability than a two week period. The shoes fit great, looked great and were overall really comfortable right out of the box... but after only two weeks of use logged the soles were noticably separating on the outer edges of the shoes opposite the ball of both feet. never had that happen before so thankful they could be returned. I'd trade a little weight for durability in this case cause the rest of the shoe is great!

Best Minimalist Tennis Shoe In Existence
As a tennis player, these shoes transformed my game. They have enough padding to be usable in a lateral movement sport like tennis where you occasionally have no choice but to hit the ground hard, but they're light enough and flexible enough to still provide plenty of proprioceptive feedback.Further, these are the only shoes I've found with a wide enough to box to allow my toes to fully spread (I wear correct toes orthodics) as they hit the ground. The only downside is that the big toe of your hitting foot will wear through very quickly, but since I haven't found any shoes anywhere close to this in performance, it's a price I'm willing to play.

Top Trainer Ever
This now favorite pair of workout shoes. I have worn Nano 5-8 and Metcon 2-5 but these just feel better. Solstice XT are lighter and great for lifting (squats, deadlift and cleans). There is also just enough cushion sprints, even up to a mile run. The wide toe box reminds me of the early Nano 2's, which good for jumps but there is better flexibility and cushion in Solstice XT. Great shoe planning on buying another pair. True 5-star.

Good for your feet!
I developed a neuroma in my foot, which was exacerbated by running shoes that were too narrow (Brooks!) Was looking for something with a wider toe box, but didn’t look too goofy, and these fit the bill. Not only do my toes have plenty of room to breathe, but they do not irritate my neuroma. I ordered a size 13 and they’re a tad on the roomy side, but still within the appropriate range for running shoes. I read reviews about the instep being too tight and experienced some of that, but it was totally resolved when I re-laced the shoes. Can always just take out the insole if needed, and it’d be worth it because these are great shoes.

Great for HIIT
This is my fourth pair of this shoe. Not because the others got worn out but because I like them so much that I want to be able to continue to use them when they discontinue this version. Love this shoe as it holds up to the wear and tear of HIIT training 5 days a week. I wear a different pair each day to keep them all as long as possible.

I love this shoe
After trying cross trainer shoes from various vendors, and being disappointed, I decided to give these a try. A friend recommended this brand, and after doing some research, I decided to give them a shot. Ive' been an athlete for two decades, and these are by far the best cross trainers I've ever worn. They are incredibly comfortable, but are still cool and breathable. They're a good shoe without feeling either too bulky or too thin.

Jolly good court shoe.
It fits a such that a size 12 with bigly toe box should fit. The soles a great stickyliness for court kind of stuff and well but at the same time one must be careful upon encountering any wetness upon a floor because thou shalt find it quite a slippery slope with this type of sole.
