In 'The Man Trap' the crew discover that the uninhabited 'M' class planet that they are performing tests on may not be entirely devoid of life. In 'Charlie X' the crew meet a young man who has picked up unique talents that do not mix well with adolescent angst. In 'Where No Man Has Gone Before' the crew of the Enterprise receive a warning from a ship that was lost over two hundred years before. In 'The Naked Time' the Enterprise crew contract a virus that removes all their inhibitions. In 'The Enemy Within' Kirk beams back to the ship and his evil alter-ego is unleashed. In 'Dagger of the Mind' a criminal manages to stow away on the Enterprise demanding asylum, and Kirk beams down to the planet to investigate. In 'The Corbomite Maneuver' Kirk and the Enterprise are pushed further into deep space where they encounter a spinning cube in space. In the two-part story 'The Menagerie' Spock talks Kirk into travelling to Starbase 11 where he kidnaps Captain Pike, steals the Enterprise and finds himself on trial. In 'The Conscience of the King' Kirk is lured to a planet under false pretenses by Doctor Thomas Leighton, who wants him to prove that a local actor is actually a war criminal. In 'Balance of Terror' dormant enemies the Romulans start to mass their weaponry - and it looks as though the old truce is about to be broken. In 'Shore Leave' the crew find a planet where they should be able to relax, but they soon start seeing strange things like Alice from Wonderland and the White Rabbit. In 'The Galileo Seven' Spock and his team crash land in their shuttle, leaving Kirk with a dilemma in his search. In 'The Squire of Gothos' the Enterprise crew come across a god-like being with a childish sense of humour who turns Kirk into a statue. In 'Arena' Kirk is forced to fight an alien creature in a one-to-one face off on a planet rather than indulge in a space battle. In 'Tomorrow is Yesterday' the crew of the Enterprise find themselves in the 1960s, where they meet an Earth pilot - and soon realise that they may have contaminated the time-line. In 'Court Martial' Kirk faces a disciplinary panel for the death of a crewman who was once a close friend. In 'The Return of the Archons' Kirk discovers a planet inhabited by a peculiarly placid people ruled by a computer deity. In 'Space Seed' the Enterpise comes across an old spaceship floating in deep space, which carries a breed of genetically engineered humans exiled from Earth many years ago led by the angry Khan. In 'A Taste of Armageddon' the ship flies into a sector of space that is part of a war controlled by computers, and is declared a casualty of war. In 'This Side of Paradise' Spock is subjected to some giant spores that unleash his emotions. In 'The Devil in the Dark' the Enterprise crew investigate the murders of many miners on Janus IV, deaths that only started to occur on the discovery of some giant silicon spheres. In 'Errand of Mercy' the Enterprise is despatched to a strategically important area, but Kirk and Spock end up stranded on a planet where the Klingons take over. In 'The Alternative Factor' an uninhabited M-class planet disappears from its system for a short period of time - and when it reappears, there is a mysterious human on the surface. In 'The City on the Edge of Forever' McCoy leaps back in time and threatens to destroy the delicate time line. Kirk and Spock travel after him, and Kirk falls in love with a woman from the twentieth century. Finally, in 'Operation - Annihilate!' the crew investigate outbreaks of insanity, and must dash to save the planet where Kirk's brother lives.I paid all £15 for 3 episodes witsh is very good value know back to £80 for the same episodes.

Sit thee down and beyond the infinity of space
The third season of Star Trek unfurls like a windswept moor, rugged and untamed, where the intrepid crew of the Enterprise journeys through realms as desolate and mysterious as the night itself. The vast expanse of space—cold, dark, and eternal—echoes with a sense of foreboding, as though some unseen force looms just beyond the stars, watching with indifference.Captain Kirk, bold and tempestuous, stands as a figure like a hero of Ancient Rome —driven by his passions, forever seeking the unattainable, both in love and in the unyielding wilderness of the cosmos. His heart, though cloaked in duty, beats wildly with the yearning for discovery, as he defies the very boundaries of time and reason. Spock, in contrast, is a brooding presence—silent, stoic, yet touched by an inner torment that he dares not reveal, his logic shielding a heart that, perhaps, feels too deeply. The plots, like the wind upon the heath, twist and turn unpredictably, leaving the viewer both entranced and bewildered. There are episodes filled with melancholy, where the weight of isolation presses heavily upon the soul, and others where the fierce storms of conflict rage, shaking the very core of what it means to be human. Yet through it all, the crew forges onward, bound by a fate they can neither escape nor fully understand. There is a certain wild beauty in this season, as though the stars themselves are alive, whispering secrets of life, death, and the eternal struggle between light and darkness. The adventures are tinged with a sense of tragic inevitability, as if the crew, like souls wandering the dark forests, is forever seeking, but never finding, the solace they crave. And so, Star Trek Season 3 stands as a haunting journey—a tempestuous voyage through both the stars and the heart, where the characters are driven by forces beyond their control, forever bound to the infinite, and forever yearning for something just out of reach.
