I have put off buying a silk bonnet for years, instead opting for silk pillowcases. I have very long thick wavy hair. I am a unsettled sleeper so my hair can be wild when I wake up. Im so glad I took the plunge and bought this silk bonnet. It's roomy and keeps my hair neat and tidy during the night. On removing it in the morning my fizz has calmed down and my hair lays nice and silky and neat. I have heard that after a year of wearing silk the hair is in its best condition permanently and this is just what I am aiming to achieve. Its a nice stylish bonnet in a beautiful shade and the quality is top notch. While it is not very attractive to go to bed with a silk bonnet on I can honestly say it makes a big difference to hair.

The silk is beautiful and the quality is perfect. I’ve bought silk bedding also have pillowcases and pillows. I’ve have masks and eye masks. I research before I buy. I have a small head so it’s too big for me BUT I don’t need to wear my eye masks as I pull down over my eyes. So that’s a bonus.I have very fine hair it’s long. But I’m losing hair as well due to menopause. Which is have defective for me. So buying this silk head dress I’m also using it in the house all day long to help my hair growth. I do have hair growing but want it to grow quicker.The quality of this head dress is so good like me you may want it on all time not just for sleeping in.I do research on what I buy. My mother always would buy the best even if it means it cost a little more. Out of all my brothers and sisters don’t do this but I do. You can get your money worth by buying the best 1st time round. What a gift you can have not just for yourself but can for your family.

First of all the packaging for this is beautiful, and I was really glad it came with a silk scrumchie too. The silk is gorgeously buttery smooth and my hair is silky this morning after sleeping with it in. It stayed on all night too and I got used to the feel of it quite quickly. The only reason I'm deducting a star is that there's not a massive amount of space for hair in the cap - I did get the feeling mine was sort of squished down and this morning my blow out style is completely flat. Like I said though my hair feels super silky which I love so I will keep using it but when I have curls in or some different style I think I'd have to not wear it if I wanted to preserve the style for the next day.

Out of the box it was soft great to sleep in until I had to wash it.I understand that silk must be handled with care so I hand washed in a gentle non bio detergent and allowed to dry flat, all as per instruction. I made sure it wasn’t in direct sunlight because that can allegedly damage the fibres.It’s now super rough and unwearable. I’ve read up that you can throw it in a dryer (don’t have one) or use vinegar to soften it.Unless you want huge maintenance don’t bother. My satin bonnets don’t have this issue and I noticed no difference to my hair when wearing the silk one at night.After posting this, the seller contacted me straight away and refunded the item. They were very nice about it and clearly care a great deal about customer service.Maybe I was unlucky as there are a lot of good reviews.

It's comfortable and my hair is so shiny in the morning now!! The front is tied in a way that the fabric stretches really well, I think this would fit most people. I love the colour and I've ordered another one. I haven't washed it yet so can't comment on how durable it is there

I did the burn test that came with the bonnet, and it definitely looks like real silk. Feels so nice on the head and I wake up with a better head of hair. It does slip off a few times in the night but I am a very active sleeper, other than that, perfect. Doesnt hurt the head or feel too tight

Unfortunately this isn’t fit for purpose - it’s not adjustable and there is no way of securing it to your head. On me, the circumference is too big, but the bonnet itself is too small as I have long hair. The result is it just falls off, so it’s pointless really!On a positive note, it is real silk, and it looks nice and is presented nicely in a box. But I can’t say if it keeps my hair from breaking or frizzing because it didn’t stay on my hair overnight.

Bought this after my sister bought one and insisted I have to get one. I'm white so I didn't know I should wear one but MY GOD!!! The difference it makes in the hair loss!! I have it for 2 weeks and my hair is already starting to feel thicker. Not sure if it helps it grow, for that I'll have to give it more time but just by not losing that much hair everyday I'm sure the difference will be even bigger in time. The only negative thing I can say is that is does make your hair greasy faster but I will endure that because the benefits are too good!
