Sungold Abrasives87965 Aluminum Oxide Cloth 60 Grit EZ8 Floor Sanding Belts (10/Pack), 8"X19"

I used this 24 grit belt to remove the varnish and level a 75 year old vintage oak floor. The followup grits from Sungold (36, 60, 80, 100) smoothed the floor to a perfect 100 grit surface, ready for sealing and application of urethane. These Sungold belts worked perfectly with the Home Depot EZ8 rental sander. I just ordered more belts to finish the rest of the oak floors in this beautiful 1940's home. These belts cut quickly, work reliably, and are very economical when compared with the belts sold at the rental center. I am very pleased with the result.

Great quality, durable and long lasting I feel that the longevity was overall great for the price fit a EZ-8 drum floor sander nicely. actually all the Sungold Products I bought for my flooring project lasted better than excepted and fit the machines fantastically as described.

This was a value-priced sandpaper and it provided value-priced performance. The price I paid for this 10 pack was about why I paid for two belts fromthe rental store. Some of the belts did not fit the sander though, so I ended up cutting them and using them for hand sanding.

Worked great for sanding my hardwood floors, better than the quality of abrasives sold at big box stores, in my opinion. I did ~300 sqft and used 5 of the 36 grit belts, and 3 each of the 60 and 80.

The 36 Grit is 36 Grit for about 16-20 square feet of sanding, then its becomes 60 Grit the rest of the way.. Has no durability. Great price, But!! does not last long..

Fit as it should, lasted a long time.

I'm happy I planned ahead and ordered these prior to my floor refinish project. You'll pay about double if you buy belts at the same hardware store you rent the EZ8. And these last longer.
