Excellent book if you know HSK2 vocabulary
These books are excellent practice for those who already know the vocabulary

Good Practice
I am above the level of HSK 2, but I found this really useful for practice. The story is short, but I have a kindle unlimited subscription so I can go through these stories very quickly.

I felt like I understood most of the stories. I think the combinations of words were logical and at a base enough level that I could figure them out.
