This light is absolutely amazing! I've been working on growing my Instagram account and rely on having good quality photos. Unfortunately, the lighting in my home isn't great so I had to put my makeup table right in front of a window and rely on natural light. However, this kept me from being able to set up a good backdrop that wouldn't tumble over from my dogs or cats running around. After a lot of searching, I found this ring light that fit my tight budget and seemed to have pretty good reviews. I decided to give it a chance and boy, I'm glad I did! This light is BRIGHT. I tried to use the mirror in the center with the light turned as bright as it goes, and it was just way too bright! I suggest using another mirror and not staring into the light! I've been able to set my makeup table away from the window, close the blinds, and use this light day or night to achieve perfect lighting! I am thrilled to finally be able to get great, more professional looking pictures! The extra little phone/camera stand is a nice addition to the bundle, too! It's able to accommodate my relatively large OnePlus 3T perfectly. I absolutely recommend it!

I got this for applying makeup at my makeup table as my bedroom isn’t super brightly lit. I first ordered the 6 inch light with the “remote” on the power line that allowed brightness to be adjusted but the stand wasn’t stable and I needed a slightly larger light so I got the 8 inch light with the metal stand. The light is super bright and the stand is sturdy, I just wish it was adjustable in terms of height as I would like it a couple inches higher. I also preferred the in-line remote on the 6 inch light to the knob on the back of this light as it’s obnoxious to have to reach behind all my products and mirror to turn it on/off or make adjustments to the level of brightness. The mirror in the center is somewhat pointless for me as I don’t like looking directly into the light.

I bought this light for Facebook live shows. I show jewelry and needed something that would show colors and details of the jewelry as close as they were in real life. This light does just that! It it super bright and I love that it has a knob on the back to dim the light. The cord is long enough for what I need. Assembly was pretty simple. I wish the bolts would tighten a little more. You can loosen them to adjust the position of the light. Sometimes it doesn't feel tight enough, so if you were to bump it it would move easily. It did come with a phone tripod, which was nice, but my phone doesn't work with it. It is a great light and I would recommend for selfies social media.

So I’ve only had this for a day and if any thing changes I’ll come back and edit this reviewAs of now I love this thing! I just needed something for my desk because the lighting in my room is really bad and I can never really see what I’m doing when i do my makeup!It’s the perfect size, I love that the light is adjustable by a turn dial instead of like different buttons with only 3 different settings if that makes senseEverything came packaged nicely but there aren’t any instructions but it was pretty easy to figure out how to put it together just by looking at the pictures.The mirror is tiny but it’s good I wasn’t really planning on using it anyway but it’s actually really convenient to have right on the middle of the light.The power cord is a good length and so far so good!!

The top screw is defectively designed and it tilts like this when I open the plastic package. There is no way to fix it, it’s the product itself - a defective one.However, the shipping is really fast since it shows estimated deliver to Jan 27th, but it got delivered today. The light is strong for selfie. I hope i can use it for long time. Anyway the phone holder is a mess. I give 4 star for now.

Let me start off by saying how much this desk ring light is absolutely amazing . U was shocked on how bright this is . The quality of the ring light is great. It is very sturdy it does have different levels of brightness. The only negative thing I have to say on this product is that it don't have different light tones but that's it .other then that I am very satisfied with this purchase .b

This product will work for the live videos I do. Two things need improvement though. The cell phone holder mechanism that attaches to the pole was less than simple, but I did figure it out. The other thing is the actual spring holder for the cell phone does not grab the phone well. Over-all, it is great for the short investment and I can live with the minor issues.

It's awesome for the price. Dim or brighten the light as much as you want. The ring isnt as big as would like but it still rocks. Came with a mini phone tripod. It doesnt get in the way of doing my makeup at all. It wld be nice if I cld adjust the height but it's just right for me. I highly recommend this. It comes with a double sided mirror also. Plugs in, easy to assemble but the directions suck
