JOOLA Hyperion Paddle Cover - Neoprene Sleeve for 11.25" Pickleball Paddles - Ben Johns Signature

This paddle cover is perfect my my joola Ben Johns Hyperion 16 mm paddle. At first it appears a little too small ( although the whole paddle fits in there) but overtime the material stretched a out and it fits perfectly.

The cover is a little tight but I'm sure it will stretch out over time. I bought this cover because it matched the paddle. There are other covers on the market that might fit better. I put it on the Jooka Hyperion 16 mm so the thickness plays a part in the tightness. I wouldn't have a problem purchasing this cover for the Hyperion again.

I have ben john hyperion swift cfs 14mm, this paddle cover fits very well with this paddle. Its standard neoprene that joola uses for all their pickleball paddle covers, but shaped for Hyperion and has ben johns signature. The zipper zips easily and i dont feel like i have to stuff it in. Considering what a simple item it is, it does feel a bit pricey, but essentially what you expect is what you get.

The first impression from this Joola paddle cover, even before I tried it on the paddle, is that it is very thin. It is thinner than an aftermarket neoprene paddle cover that I have, and thinner than a Selkirk paddle cover that I also have for yet another paddle. Well, maybe there is some benefit from lesser thickness if you need to squeeze several paddles into a limited in size pocket of your bag... The second impression is that it is a very tight fit. I even thought for a moment that the paddle would not fit into the cover. It does, but quite tightly. Much tighter than any other cover that I had experience with. But long term durability is questionable with anything and everything that is too tight and requires some force and effort to close. The final thought is, is THIS really worth $18? The price is way too high for what it is, especially given its feel and implied quality and durability. Basically, you are paying a premium price for Ben Johns imprinted signature and Joola logo imprinted on China made cover, and you bought it store your made in China Joola Ben Johns paddle. Somehow, not exciting. For a thinner version of Joola Hyperion paddle (e.g., 14 mm), it may be a better fit.
