UPDATE: Of the 23 that went into lockdown, 20 hatched! Of those 20, only one failed to thrive and died. All 19 others are amazingly healthy and strong! Of those received, 80% have hatched out. Of those that went into lockdown, 87% hatched! Already submitted my order for another batch of these eggs! These results are the best that I have ever achieved!Quail egg lottery! Candled on day 8, and 23 of the 25 received are very fertile and developing well! One is a maybe, and only ONE was infertile! I have never had such a high percentage of fertile eggs by day 8! They came SO well packaged, too! Not a single crack or blemish in the lot! Will order more again soon!!!!!

Ordered 20 eggs, received 25. Only one turned out infertile, 15 hatched out healthy (only one had to be assisted), the different colors are beautiful. Did a dry hatch (kept humidity around 30 per cent to 40 per cent until lockdown where it became 65 per cent to 75 per cent. Used a second thermometer/hygrometer. They are all healthy, no splayed legs, all feeding well and all chicks still alive over a week after hatch.

Fast shipping. The eggs are coming in very good condition. The hatching rate is very high.

We've bought quail eggs off Amazon before and we've been happy with the purchase. This one did not disappoint. We were hoping/expecting a 50% hatch rate, as is common with shipped eggs, but instead got 63%.We received 24 eggs, 15 hatched. 3 additional were fully developed birds but did not hatch. 6 were not developed at all or were infertile. 1 hatched the end of day 16, 13 hatched on day 17, and 1 hatched on day 18. I always wait until day 21 to toss eggs as I have had eggs hatch on day 19-20 before.I did a test this time to see the difference in hatch rate from what we normally have done in the past. We normally keep the birds at 45-55% humidity the entire time. We turn off the turner on day 14, but do not raise the humidity. We normally get an 85-90% hatch rate from Amazon eggs.This time I decided to try it the way "the internet tells you to" by turning off the turner on day 14 but then increasing humidity to 65-75%, having kept the humidity prior to that at 45-55%.I believe our lower than normal hatch rate is due to raising the humidity for the hatching phase. I will not be doing that next time, but I'm still pleased with this purchase as we still got higher than average hatch rates for mailed eggs.I will buy from them again, but will go back to our normal practice of not raising the humidity.

This is an amazing product and I never thought I could order hatching eggs on amazon and have it turn out well. I ordered 20 eggs, 24 arrived packaged very securely in foam. Only one egg was cracked. The eggs looked so amazing, blue eggs, speckled eggs, they were great. Out of the 23 eggs set, 18 made it to lockdown and all 18 hatched. I am thrilled with these babies. They are a variety of colors, they are so beautiful and I cant wait till next time I need to order eggs, because I will be purchasing these again.

These were my first quail eggs- intention of raising for eggs. They came quickly, only one had a crack, and I live in Alaska, and they gave me 4 extra eggs, so that’s a win win! You will need to have done research, they don’t come with any information. I had 18 of 23 hatch, no candling, one didn’t make it. I was pleased with the variety of colors, 50% male and the hens started laying at under 7 weeks! Just wanted to get on here and say a decent place to start your quail journey. No idea what the intent is with these birds, and I’ve since got some bred for temperament, had a less successful hatch rate though!

Ordered 20 eggs and got 2 dozen eggs. Received hatch rate of 18/24, which is very good considering these are shipped eggs. We did prep them prior incubation to get this higher hatch rate. Eggs were very well packaged in foam carton and very secured in cardboard box. We removed the eggs out of the foam carton and placed on a quail egg incubator rack with air sacks end facing up. We allowed it to settle down at room temperature for 24 hours. During this time, we had turned on our QSF incubator and set to the appropriate temp and humidity for quails. Then the eggs were put in the incubator. We ended up with 18 out of 24 eggs hatched. For Eggs that are shipped and had gone through much abuse during transit, this is a very high rate.Eggs are of great variety and are healthy looking quails. I am very pleased with the results. I think that this seller received a one star from some is probably due to their lack of experience of hatching any sort of eggs from online. There is a few extra prep work that’s needed to be done when they’re roughly handled in transit. I would suggest putting in a “how to prep your shipped eggs” for the customers who are unfamiliar with this method so they can get the best result as possibly. Other than that I am a happy customer and would purchase again.

I received an order of 20 mixed color quail. The order was delivered early :). I received 24 eggs instead of 20. I hatched 21 out of 24 eggs. None were damaged. All were large. I am absolutely thrilled with this product and grateful to the company that provided themUpdate: my quail are now about one month old. They’re healthy and happy. They’re very hardy and growing at a good rate :).
