New York Gift Animal Sound Wall Clock

Have read the previous mixed reviews with some trepidation but having received our clock we can say that we are very happy with our purchase.The comments about clock not being synchronised with the sounds did not happen in our case but it is important to read and follow the instructions BEFORE you insert the batteries. We can only guess that other reviewers did not do this. If you don't manually set the clock to a certain time before putting the batteries in the sounds will not tie in with the pictures. RTFM!OK the sounds might not be best quality but the clock is not expensive.The only other down side would be that the noises happen every day between 6am and 9pm, whereas my older bird noise clock has a light sensor that reduces the sound volume as it gets darker and turns them off in the dark. This animal noise clock does not have a ambient light sensor and operates on a fixed time program.Nevertheless for less then £10 with free delivery we feel justified that this fun clock deserves five stars.

I purchased this item in good faith as an xmas present for a friend and her son.The clock was deliverd directly to her address and arrived promptly.Regretfully the clock is faulty as the pictures of the animals assigned to the hours do not relate to the sounds emitted by the clock. i.e. when it is chicken oclock the cat mews !. The child is somewhat confused.This has caused me some embarrassment sending faulty presents to friends.

Not an expensive clock by any measure but great fun. Seems to keep good time. Needs 3 batteries but thats because of the sounds I guess.

The animal noises are about as realistic as ET and it required quite a lot of setting to get the noises to coincide with the time. Also the noises stop at 9pm and restart at 6am - I would prefer a light sensor so that whenever the lights are off, so are the noises. The packaging could have been stronger and more protective although the clock did arrive unbroken, even though the box was rather battered which is a shame as I bought it as a gift. However, it did arrive promptly.

I bought this clock as a gift for neighbours who are avid clock collectors. This now hangs in their kitchen and is a source of much amusement. Speedy delivery too thank you so much

noises do not match the animals and they go off all night and not through the day. The donkey noise (which actually sounds when the hand is on the goose) sounds terrifying. actually terrifying. Like it is drowning.spooky clock
