It works
This was the perfect gift for my sister. She said she wanted to try airbrushing so I told her I would get her one to see how she liked it to start and then if she really took to it we could get a more expensive one if she wanted... she said it worked great and she loves it. It was easy to use but does have a few tiny pieces to be careful with when cleaning. The battery lasts a good while and it is a super pretty color. For the price I'd definitely say its worth it.

Works great for dying leather
I was skeptical/reluctant to buy this cheap rechargeable battery powered airbrush to dye leather but I figured even if it doesn't work for what I wanted to do with it I wouldn't be out a lot of money.Well guess what? It worked great. It's a low cost, well made, easy to use tool that I can use again for applications in the future. It's a keeper . . .The only downside is that the instructions are rather limited and it didn't come with a recharger but any USB 5 volt 2 amp cell phone/electronics charger will work.It takes about 2 hours to fully charge which is good for about an hour of use.

Great deal
My son wanted this to play around with shoe customization. He likes it. Easy to use, plenty of power, decent battery life. All the accessories you need to get going.

Not usable out of the box
Portable compressor is too heavy and falls over if you look at it wrong. Round shape ensures that it rolls around everywhere. Airbrush is garbage. It has air continuously flowing out even if the trigger is not pressed. The design of the paint cup ensures that you have to use a ton of paint to keep it fed. The hose is so tightly coiled that your fighting it the entire time your using the airbrush. Avoid purchasing this for use right out of the box. With a decent airbrush, hose, and something to secure the compressor unit it MIGHT be usable.

Not the best quality
For the price is ok. Fell apart and clogged often.

It's an airbrush -- you don't have to use it for makeup, despite the packaging : )
VERDICT: recommended for hobbyist use (dunno about makeup).I ordered this without realizing it was intended for the application of makeup. And although it might be great for that, I wasn't about to find out. After all, it's an airbrush -- there's nothing magical about it that makes it any more suited for spraying someone's nails versus painting a T-shirt or some 3D printed parts, or whatever.. It just depends on what kind of paint you use, and what you spray it on.That said, the unit doesn't come with any paint*. So I picked some up from a local art supply store, and went to town. To test it out, I tried painting on some artists' sketch paper, and it worked great without dripping (which always happens when I'm using spray paint). Since then, I've used it to paint some 3D-printed pieces, and that worked well, too.As for clean-up... It's messy, and compared to painting, it's decidedly not the fun part. I've found that using hot water makes it easier, and by all means, never leave the airbrush full of paint overnight... because the paint will congeal inside the airbrush parts and getting it all out is rather time consuming... so learn from my mistake and just clean it up as soon as you're finished.*NOTE REGARDING PAINT: you don't need to buy special airbrush paint! Search online for DIY airbrush paint, and you'll learn like I did that airbrush paint is just diluted acrylic paint and can be made out of normal acrylic paints and solvent (water, alcohol, etc.).
