Fantastic real life story about an imformus Irish drug & Arms. runner. Well written and well worth a read if are into real life crime

Well i must say it was an interesting read,the author has given an insight into the dublin underworld,who says crime didnt pay, it did for gilligan, shame it took so long to catch him after all the misery the drugs trade spread throughout dublin and beyond

I thought it was an very interesting and informative book, but left out quite a few links into others who where in involved, but an enjoyable read if you like the gangster/underworld stories.

It's a Christmas present for someone who enjoys this kind of book

Good read about a real low life. pity the ira failed to kill him

A chilling insight to a pathological criminal mind. With his background grooming him for the life he leads and the person he is, it leaves a lot of questions about nature and nurture. A gangster he is but more to the point a vile man.

Good biography well written with terrific attention to details.

An interesting read!

Having known about this man for many years I fond the book interesting but I felt did not portray him for the evil little man he is.
