Machined slightly too long.
Looks just like the original but…it is machined slightly too long so it pushes the blade slightly up, which doesn’t allow the lid handle to close & lock.

The gear part is slightly too tall, and causes the pitcher to stick up so that you have to apply pressure to the latch assembly while blending so that it still recognizes that the safety mechanism is properly engaged. not a deal breaker but a little annoying.
