Glass² Mini for Lifeproof Nuud - Tempered Glass Screen Protector - (iPhone 8, iPhone 7 (4.7" Only))

The screen protector is advertised to be a bit smaller than the nuud case, claiming that it is to maintain the waterproof properties of the case. A few words on this. If you want to skip down past the installation part, scroll down to where it says REVIEW:The screen is significantly smaller, but not so small that it prevents the screen to be blocked by the privacy filter, assuming that's why you're looking at this one in the first place. You just have to place it in the correct position, otherwise the swipe up window will be extremely difficult to swipe up. I had to install 3 of these through trial and error, so learn from my mistakes.The 1st time I installed it, I installed as recommended, without the case front cover, and placing it closer to the top. I noticed then, that it was almost impossible to swipe the swipe up menu, there was a significant gap that wouldn't register your finger. Plus you could see some of the screen content at the bottom at the privacy angle, so I needed to try again.Upon 2nd installation, I put only the front cover of the nuud case on (recommended in my opinion), and aligned the screen protector with the bottom part of the case (instead of the top like I read somewhere), literally about .2 mm away from the case gasket, so that way it would maintain its waterproof qualities, aligning it with the raised part above the home button. I put the case fully on, tested the swipe up menu and privacy angle, and voila! It was perfect. Then I used a white screen to test for dust/hair, and noticed an eyelash. Crap. So I raised it just a bit to get it off with tweezers, and laid it back on the phone. Now there was a slight crack where it was bending when I was barely lifting it up to get the eyelash off. Double crap.So upon 3rd installation, I installed it the exact same way, but this time keeping in mind that I should use sufficient lighting to mind any dust/hair that would be between the screen protector and screen. 3rd time was the charm!REVIEW: So, as far as the privacy filter goes, it does the trick nicely at a 45 degree angle. It's not as dark as I would like, but it's a sacrifice due to the fact that when viewing straight on, it's sufficiently bright. Reading around the interwebs about other privacy filters, it's a catch 22, either it's significantly darker when looking directly at it but giving you great privacy at an angle, or it looks great head on, with still a sufficient amount of privacy. I would just recommend turning your brightness down, and it will provide better privacy. The durability is great. On one of the screens that I took off, I tested it on a granite countertop with a hammer, and let gravity pull the hammer down. Nothing. But a second try in the same spot, it obviously cracked. And this is real tempered glass by the way. The screen protector is very smooth, I personally think it's smoother than the screen itself. 3D Touch works perfectly, and it hardly scratches, even when in the same pocket as my keys. And about the screen being smaller than the front case cover... I personally think it would be more difficult to install if it was bigger, and the chances of you damaging the screen itself due to the gap, is almost impossible. I recommend buying a few of these all at once. I'm new to using tempered glass protectors (obviously) but I like having this one with my nuud case, rather than having the tempered glass screen protectors that cover the whole face of the phone. I've seen phone get damaged way more quickly than with a setup like this. The packaging was great with these, shows that they care, and I would buy from Teqii again in the future!

I have had it on my phone for 7 months now. There are only very light scratches. It hasn't shifted or bubbled or anything since I installed it. Additionally, the installation was easy. I was worried I would get some dust under the glass, but the kit came with wipes that helped to prevent that. It fits the nuud case well. There is a small gap around the edges of the glass between the case. Some dust does get trapped in there. But I just remove the case and clean the phone well every so often. I'm pleased with the quality and that it doesn't compromise the quality of the screen display. It was definitely worth it.

Very good protector with one problem. The glass goes on flawlessly with absolutely no bubbles and feels very well made. No issues with touch as well. I am using with a Lifeproof Nuud case. My issue is that it is not as large as the screen, there is a small noticeable gap along edges between case and protector that shouldn't be there if this is custom made for phone and case. I would give it three stars but it does go on better than any I have installed and is very well made but no excuse for the gaps.

I have ordered a hand full of screen protectors since getting my iPhone and this is BY FAR THE BEST! Quality of the glass is amazing and my protector went on with absolutely zero lint and no air bubbles to speak of. It fit perfectly and completely covered my screen. I purchased my nuud case wanting extra protection but the faceless design left the phone screen exposed. This glass protects the screen while being practically invisible. It doesn’t hold finger prints and when it gets wet the water beads and rolls off. Just an overall amazing product and fast shipping company! I bought two so I had one as a backup. If I crack my current one and the stand by screen I WILL be buying this company’s product again.

I bought this to replace the screen guard that came with my life proof case because that one got damaged after I had difficulty applying it. This screen protector was a little bit hard to apply (I think I'm just challenged?). Anyway, I had to take it off and reapply and it still applied really nicely. No specks of dust, even after dropping it between the couch cushions (I had to use the little dust stickers on the sticky side of it, but still....). I LOVE the way this feels under my fingers--it doesn't dull the clarity of my screen, and it feels like I'm touching the bare screen. But I'm not--so when my toddler throws my phone into the bottom of the diaper bag with my keys, I'm not going to have scratches all over my screen. Love this. Fits perfectly with my case.

I was so disappointed when I realized the Lifeproof Nuud doesn't come with an attached screen protector like previous generations. I messed up the cheap plastic one that Lifeproof provides, what started as one spec of dust turned into a mess. The cleaning cloth Lifeproof gave me left behind more fiber than it removed. Anyway, once the Lifeproof plastic screen protector was ruined, I tried contacting Lifeproof for a replacement but got nowhere. Didn't think that I really needed a screen protector until I vacationed at the beach. That quartz sand can scratch a screen faster than anything! Very excited when I found this on Amazon - it fits perfectly with the Nuud case and went on clean and easy. Love it! Now I have complete protection for my iPhone 6 Plus.
