My granddaughter loved this Lego. It was reasonably easy to assemble and she got fantastic pleasure from seeing it all built up.

This Lego set is perfect for beginners, it’s a small set and it isn’t too technical and fairly easy to build. My nine year old niece managed to build this with no problems at all and needed little help from me (mostly just to keep her on track with the instructions! It’s so exciting building the set that she couldn’t remember which step she was on!) Great set for a great price and kept my very energetic niece still and fairy quiet for approx 30-60 mins, so it was worth every penny!

I gave this and another Friends set to my 7 yr old daughter to build and she went off and built it without any problems. The build is simple and the instructions clear. It kept her building for about 45 minutes, but she was on a go slow and doing other things at the same time.She has enjoyed playing with the set, the dog more than the car admittedly, but she has played with it as a car set. My 4 yr old daughter has actually taken to the car more then the 7 yr old, taking it around regularly to get some more power.The kit is currently £10 on offer, and would probably make a nice present for someone of primary school age.

I just love Lego and even more so now that they are continuing to adapt to suit the needs of their audiences. This little set is great for kids not only to build but also to use as a role play since it has a car charger, characters and a pet !

My niece, who is 7 years old, had very little issue with building this set herself, and she really enjoyed the creative freedom of thinking about where to play with the accessories, such as the tables, chairs, pet bowl, and how the set should be positioned.The electric car featured in the set prompted my niece to ask lots of questions about electric vehicles and how they work. Luckily, I had my phone handy to check on Google, but I was really impressed that it sparked her to ask questions.Even though this kit may seem small, there are lots of play opportunities, such as the main focus being the pet or the vehicle, or playing sports with the ball, or imagining a petrol station with food and seats, etc.This Lego kit helps kids create longer imagitive play, and it's great for adults to play alongside kids, especially when asking promoting questions like what are their names, where they are going, how long the journey takes, do you think the car needs charging, etc.I think the price of this set is fantastic, as it makes Lego kits a bit more accessible for all-income families. Having the kit at a lower price means that my niece has a realistic and achievable goal when saving her birthday or chore money to get another set and to start adding to the story and adventures of the electric vehicle kit.
