Really cool
My dog lies on it sometimes but seems to prefer the floor, I don't know why as its great, really cool, my feet are often on it!

Persevere!
I nearly gave up on this early on as my cats were more interested in trying to chew the edges. One of my cats in particular now realises what it is actually for and if she feels too warm she goes straight to it to cool down. Some of my friends have similar mats for their dogs/cats and it is hit and miss whether they are used, but I would say do persist with it. This one is great value and has been robust so far. Also nice to put your feet on when the pets aren't using it!

Not just for dogs
Strange but I bought this for my baby daughter a nurse recommended it to me as during the summer she would be boiling in the pram despite being in the shade and pram covered by parasol. Safe to say it worked I put it in the fridge the night before when expecting a hot day and we’d be out. Covered it with a Muslin cloth then putting baby on top in the pram.

Poor return service
I returned this item as it was damaged. I still await the refund which has not been processed. Very disappointed. I've used this supplier before and product good, but clearly as I'm returning a damaged item I'm not being responded to promptly.

My dog likes to be in and out all day in this glorious weather, so He has a cushion in shade and I place the cooling mat on another cushion for when he wants to be cool. I wasn't sure that he would like the cooling mat but he loves it. If I can't be comfortable, at least he will be. Thank you. I ordered the smallest size and there is not much room to spare, but George is a Jack Russell cross with a Patterdale terrier so this mat is more than adequate.

Quite heavy to carry about all day
You can feel the coolness when you press on it. I bought this to use when hiking on warm days so that my dog can cool off if she gets too warm. Unfortunately it’s quite heavy due to the cooling gel so not really something you want to carry around just in case. Still given this 5 stars thought as that’s not a fault with this particular product and will still use when camping/in the garden
