Silent and effective
I was hesitant to purchase this but I needed some thing to do the job, I am very impressed with this product as it is silent and working perfectly, I would recommend this product to anyone who has damp issues in a room

Zennox Dehumidifier
Good Product for the price. Works well and removes the moisture in a medium sized room. It is quite noisy (at least the noise of a loud computer fan) Other wise great.UPDATEMy review is for a product that I purchased at £10 less then the current offer price - mine is still working fine but you might find a product that will be more effective in a larger room for the current offer price

Brilliant.
These de humidifiers were smaller than I was expecting but they are powerful and have solved the problem of my soaking wet windows and a damp conservatory. Brilliant.

It dehumidifies
Stopped working after a few months.Repaired faulty solder joint. Ran ok for just over a year then fan became noisey and stopped. Replaced fan with new Arctic F8 case fan. Now quieter and seems to run more efficiently.

Excellent
Have had problems with damp and mould and this machine is just the ticket. Arrived on time and with no problems. Does what it is supposed to and I was very happy. Good value for money too. I was going to buy another, albeit different style, dehumidifier but it would have cost me £10 extra so it saved me a bit of money too. I also like the sound it makes, soothing and quiet, not loud and unpleasant, which is good as I spend a fair bit of time in the room.

Not Impressed
This item was faulty when it arrived. This product had a dodgy connection as it kept shutting off. I can't say how well it works as it did not run for long enough. It was much smaller than I had anticipated. I had to return it.

Very good
Has worked well in a wardrobe that had quite bad condensation mould. Since cleaning and painting the wall and using this it has not come back. The unit collects about 1/2 litre of water per week but it will depend on moisture levels.it is not too noisy but you can just about hear it so we turn it off at night time. It does sometimes make quite loud vibrating noises when emptied. I generally find that taking out the tray and reinserting sorts this out. For a cheap dehumidifier it is pretty good. We also have a more expensive Ebac Amazon 15 dehumidifier as our house is bad for condensation. It doesn't compare to this but is much, much cheaper. For a wardrobe or small room this is probably ideal.

Tiny but very problemmatic - it's better to get the large one
I bought one of these in December 2010 and am still using it. However: I don't use it 24 hours a day. In winter or when it's damp/rainy, I use it daily for about 12-15 hours a day, but if it isn't damp/rainy, I don't use it at all.Pros:It works. Turn it on and it takes water out of thin air. It's (fairly) easy to empty. It has a little water-collection drawer that just pulls straight out. There is a black rubber stopper in the top that you're supposed to remove to empty the water, but it's a bit fiddly and I never bother with that: I just turn the drawer upside-down and empty most of it out through the fill-hole.It's fairly quiet: it's about the same noise level as an electric fan (but see "Cons" below). I wouldn't have it on in the same room where I'm sleeping, but it's fine in the next room. If I'm in the same room with it and have the TV or radio on, I wouldn't even notice the noise. It is incredibly small and portable and being quite light-weight (especially when empty), it's easy to move from place to place if you want.Cons:The biggest annoyance for me is that almost every single time I turn it on, it makes an unhealthy noise, like the fan inside is off-balance. After a number of sharp taps, the fan eventually gets "balanced" and then the noise goes down to a "normal" hum, but I end up having to do this almost every single time I turn it on, which is just tedious and gets old when you just want to flick a switch and not spend minutes trying to get the noise to stop every time.It is supposed to have an automatic shut-off when the water gets to a certain height in the collection drawer, but it's never worked. I can't remember if it is because the water leaks out before it gets full (see my review for the "large" dehumidifier) or if the shut-off just never triggers. In either case, it just keeps going and going without shutting off, leaking all the water onto the floor. Like with the large one that I also bought, I now empty the drawer before the water level gets to the white part (since you can see the water level through the clear bottom part), but it's a bit of an annoyance to have to keep tabs on it.However, the automatic shut-off usually triggers when I return the water collection drawer to the machine after emptying it. It then thinks the drawer is full and refuses to turn on, and I have to jiggle the drawer to find the right position so that it finally realises the drawer is empty and starts again. It's certainly not as powerful as a bigger (more expensive) version and would not be suitable for a serious damp problem, and would take longer to remove the same amount of water as a bigger one, but it works for a single room with a bit of damp, and certainly takes water out of the air, so it is reducing the humidity. It doesn't have a humidistat. It only has two settings: off and on. But I guess the ones which have an in-built humidistat are a lot more expensive. They apparently got it to be so small by putting the workings into a black plastic "brick" half-way down the lead. So although the dehumidifier itself is tiny, you have to account for the big black block wherever you put it.Overall, I would NOT buy it again, mainly because of the issue with the noise almost every time I turn it on, and then on top of that the shut-off doesn't work, except when the drawer has been emptied. It just has too many annoying problems. I'll put up with it until it dies, but when I replace it, I would buy the "large" model instead.
