Highland 1930500 Litter Trap

I don't plan on throwing away things that will rot or leak in my car. Once I have my baby if I have a dirty diaper I'm going to put it in a plastic bag to take with me as soon as I get to a trash can, not leave in my car hanging off of my headrest. I have a nice new car so I'm not going to let apple cores or banana peels rot for weeks at a time. I need something handy to toss tissues, receipts, empty cups, the occasional pastry bag to keep my car looking neat. This works perfectly. I don't think it looks cheap or detracts from the appearance of my car. I don't want it bigger because that would just encourage me to be a slob who fills my car up with trash.If you want to keep your car neat with a small litter bag this is perfect. If you want to be a secret hoarder with something hefty bag sized to hide all your rotting food and super size meal bags this may not be for you.

Hi people😀 I bought this for my mother for some reason I polled the string to hard and the little black protector nub came off I was able to put it back on. It wasnt what I thought it would be yet I didnt buy it for me so it doesn"t mattet rigjt? It is small and thin it has a velcrow closer on the bottom , its cool I like that because you open that to empty the trash no need to get your hands dirty if you do not have to, right? My mother loves it I bought her a bigger one and more firmer but she never changed it she really likes this one I put it in the middle on the arm rest it had a string that I pulled around it it fits perfect she likes it.

After several months of usage:This car trash bag was purchased to replace an aging Case Logic one that I really loved and used for over ten years but I can no longer find. It's flimsier than I'd like but all and all does it's job just fine. It is attached to the back of the passenger seat (via headrest posts) so I don't look at it all that much. Otherwise no complaints. It holds trash, keeps it out of the cabin of the car, looks fine etc.Pros: Holds trash, looks fine, fair priceCons: A bit thin and flimsyOverall: I'd buy it again.

It hangs okay on the back of the seat, you can cinch the top closed, you can use a bread bag to line the garbage bag. My complaint, it's smaller than my last one, which is crazy, right, who wants that much garbage in their car, but three kids, three juice boxes and it's full. If I use it and there are no kids in the car, it's perfect for the occasional scrap of garbage. It doesn't leak. It does everything else that it should.

I ordered this based on the positive reviews. Let's be fair - if you do not care what your car's garbage sack looks like, you may be happy with this bag. I have several issues with this item. First, it is small - so if you want something you can put larger items in (crumpled papers, disposable containers, etc) you may find the small opening annoying. . .Nor does it hold a small grocery bag in place as the photo will lead you to believe. You can sort of loop a plastic grocery bag partially under the drawstring - but not completely. It's also much too small to realistically accommodate a standard plastic grocery sack, so you may end up trimming the top of the sack off, unless you want lots of unsightly plastic hanging out of the top. Finally, it looks cheap. Granted, it is cheap in price - and frankly there aren't that many good garbage options for the car. . .but this just didn't meet my expectations. The velcro enclosure on the bottom is, I think, meant to add to this bag's functionality, but in my opinion just added to its flimsiness and overall shabby appearance.I'm glad some people like this item. I want something that is a bit more functional and does not detract from the moderate quality of our car's interior. This just didn't cut it.

I like this style of trash bag for my car. I can hang it from my shift nob and it doesn't take up much room if I have a passenger. It's pretty deep, and it has the velcro flap at the bottom for emptying it without sticking your hand back into God-knows-what. It is narrow, but the opening stays open so you don't have to fight with your trash to get it in. It's not going to hold big trash. But, for being inconspicuous, it's the winner.

Bought on Amazon. Item wasn't really as pictured. The strap used to hang if from a car is shown in the picture as a strap (similar to what is on back pack, but smaller). But is actually a string (like a dress shoe lace). It also has a bright white Highlander Logo on the front. Fabric is very thin (almost see through), but I guess it would work. I expected the throat area to be stretchy so you could put things in and it keep them in and hide them, so you wouldn't have to loosen it up, put things in, and tighen it back up again. It actually is a string with a clasp that you slide back and forth. It's also smaller than I expected. The width for instance is a little smaller then what is listed in the ad (5.5") when laying flat, and a the diameter is smaller still when the thing would be filled up. Was hoping this would be similar to the Case Logic ATB-10 (Bought several before, but I believe it is no longer available?) as they would look nearly identical in the picture. Bad assumptions on my part. My opinion is it is not something I would want to use, but consider the price....it might serve the purpose for you.

Case Logic used to make a version of this size bag but with an elastic opening and slightly more substantial material.So far this is adequate, but i don't care for the draw string closure. This is a great size for small trash, receipts, etc. Not for disposing of your meal, but handles the little things great and doesn't get in the way. I have this style or the case logic in all my cars.
