Jowbeam Mini Pocket LED Flashlight Small Stylus Pen Lights with Clip 120 Lumen Lightweight for Inspection and Work

Very bright light for a pen light, good value for the money. The only problem is the same as for all(?) LED metal-shell flashlights: it may die if you drop it on a hard surface .I can't tell whether there's really a difference between JowBeam and its competitors -- for all I know they all roll off of exactly the same production line somewhere and just get different names stamped on them -- but I've tried a few and the JowBeam ones just *feel* to me like they're a hair better than the others.

I use these at work during assessments of my patients oral cavity. I have given several away to coworkers who all are impressed by the bright light. It is heavier than other pen lights, but not too heavy. Highly recommended.

Got these yesterday and everything worked out of the box. They do not come with batteries but no big deal. Only a on/off setting which i like. No high / low / blinking settings which for me is a plus. I deliver pizzas at night and so i like to keep a small flashlight with me walking up to houses at night. BTW, people turn your front porch lights on when order pizza! Very convenient size but i found that they were not powerful enough to read an address on a house from the street. I had to use a bigger LED flashlight I had been using before. I was disappointed but you have to be realistic about what your getting. These are better for up close inspection rather than looking at things far away. I may purchase some more for first aid kits and toolbox.

Could use a switch that turns on momentary before making the "on" click, would be more useful. The light drains about 2 amps, so the AAA batteries which are rated at 1 AH, says the batteries might last less then a 1/2 an hour of use. So the momentary "on" action of the switch would be a big improvement. It does have about 120 lumens measured at 1 meter, and the head get warm very quickly. I would apply electrical grease to the O rings and threads.

Will buy more, keep them in home, auto and shop.

Brightness was way more then I expected to come from this tiny light.

Well made, slightly bigger than a Sharpie in width and an inch or so longer.These lights are SUPER bright. They say 120 lumens, and they're all of that. Very bright for such a small light. These are great to keep in the car, in the nightstand, in the garage - anywhere. I use these for a variety of things. Outdoors at night, these little lights really light up any area. I could see these being useful for camping, etc., too.Can't beat the price for two of these.

Although I haven't had it long and longevity is a big factor and reason I had to purchase a new flashlight, this one has lots of positives I need. I like the longer thinner shape, the position of the clip below the screw-on cap, the ease of battery access and the great light. If the on/off button doesn't malfunction and/or the batteries don't get stuck like the ones it is replacing, it will be a real winner.

Convenient size with good brightness.
