8 good weight, not flimsy fabric, with thick handles, bottom unfolds with flat surface. Not as wide as some others, but you get 8 sturdy bags, and personally I don't want to fill bigger bags to the point I can't carry them or worry about tearing. First bought as a gift to be eco friendly and with some stores no longer offering the plastic bags. Once I saw the quality I ordered them for myself as well.

They are perfect! I've had them for almost a year now and still love them. I'm talking I carry gallons of water/milk every week! They have a loop that helps stabilize them when you're at the self-check and they hold a lot of groceries. The only thing I'm not fond of is the fact that the material is such that the outer part of the bags catches dirt and pills over time. It doesn't effect the functionality, so not that big of a deal. People have complimented me on the style too. You may want to buy two sets...I never seem to have the bags where I need them; either in the car or at work or in the apartment....just not where I need them at the moment! :/

Planet E makes sturdy utility bags & totes, and these have long straps sewn all the way to the bottom of the sides - not just a small patch at the top that'll fail. I use them as saddle bags on my walker and for larger items when shopping. Being an 8 pack I now have p!entry of spares and a good bang/buck.

the bags are well built and great price, but the lack of a flat bottom makes it hard to carry groceries in it. better suited for clothes or other soft items
