Iridium GO is totally portable with an IP rating of IP65, which allows you to use your phone or tablet when you do not have access to terrestrial networks to make voice calls, share photos, access emails, applications, SMS, use GPS or send SOS alerts. Simply lift the integrated antenna and the battery unit will connect quickly and automatically to the LEO Iridium satellite constellation to create a Wi-Fi hotspot at any 30.5m radius. Then you can connect and use up to 5 devices at a time within this area using the 'Iridium GO! request'. This included 1000 data minutes / 500 voice minutes of airtime valid for 365 days. Please note the SIM Card much be activated within 6 months of purchase. Keep in mind that the Iridium GO! HotSpot is NOT included.
