Saucony Women's Guide 17 Sneaker

The best sneakers I’ve ever owned. They are very comfortable and have a perfect fit. The shoe quality is great. I have plantars fasciitis and this really reduces the pain. The shoes are lightweight. And a great value for the money. This is the only brand I wear now.

As you can see by the photo,!I wear these every day. I have three pairs! Before foot surgery I could only wear clogs, soft ones, with an open back. That kept the top of the shoe from touching the arthritic part of my foot. After surgery, the doctor told me I MUST wear a substantial running shoe. These have been a godsend. So comfortable. Worth every penny. They look cute and have held together very well. With an extra wide my foot is not irritated. I don’t normally wear extra wide but these give that extra room in the toe box.

So comfy and squishy! They are amazing for my feet! Walking and working out is easier!

Slipped these on and they were comfortable right away. No break in period. They are a little wide in the toe area. I sized down a half size. The color is very nice. They are a lightweight sneaker, great for walking. My only complaint is they are “bulky” looking. The soles are huge! My feet look like blocks of wood and there is no definition to the sneaker. I have high arches and use inserts which is working fine.

I ordered these shoes because I have an extra wide foot. Also I get a lot of callouses on my feet. So these shoes have extra cushion and bounce. Very comfortable. True to size.

Let me start with I am a huge fan of Saucony. I also did a quiz on the Saucony website to be sure and get the right shoe. Everything said order these. The color is great. The fit is good. I wore a 9 in my old Saucony so I bought a 9 in these. They fit fine, but they look BIG. My husband said they looked too big, but they aren't. I walked around all day at the state fair to break them in. They were easy and comfortable to walk in- they are light. My toes and top of foot felt nice, but bottom of feet and heels still ached. For as thick as the sole is, I was very surprised that they were not more supportive. In the past when I bought new Saucony it felt like walking on air- no aches. Sadly, these did not do this. I am keeping them, but am disappointed and will likely not by Saucony online again as they are too expensive to not be amazing.

I really like these shoes, and I have been through Asics, Brooks, New Balance, and Altra to try to find a comfortable stability shoe. Unfortunately, the Guide 17 is phasing out and I do not like the Guide 18. It is stiffer and bulkier. I wish they would quit tinkering with a good thing.

True to size. Great for running or just lifting weights. Great quality for the money. Light weight and durable!
