I bought it to replace the top part of the identical valve buried in the ground, so I took it apart and only replaced the defective parts. It worked!

Great product. Exactly what I needed. If you have a leaky sprinkler head, don't forget to run the entire system after changing out the valve to clear out any air and pressure.

This installed easily enough, and continues to work perfectly!

So I only needed the diaphragm to this and could not find it without the solenoid but for the price I bought the whole kit and I'll have an extra solenoid when needed. With that said, it was odd how it shipped as it was not in a box and before we installed it, it had some water dripping out of it so we assumed it had already been returned when somebody realized it didn't fit theirs. We decided to go ahead and try it anyways and it was the exact one we needed. It resolved the problem immediately and it works perfectly but I hate getting products delivered to me that were once returned. Other than that it did resolve the issue and it works.
