The Little Book of SITCOM

I recently purchased this, among other books, while working on developing a sitcom from scratch. I've read John's works before and found him one of the most down to Earth writers and brilliant and demystifying the processes of creativity.This book is deceptively short, but there is a wealth of knowledge and advice in here in condensed form. I thoroughly recommend it as it has helped me immeasurably.I've read it once and intend to read it at least two more times back to front to fully digest it.

My first copy of this book went missing in the post but Amazon replaced it extremely quickly and I'm really pleased they did. Excellent book - which manages to combine being extremely informative with also being very amusing to read. Something I'll be dipping in and out of for years, as a quick reference to sitcom writing.

A very positive and uplifting book packed full of info. If I get the dreaded writers block I pick up the book and have a read. It seems to help get me past it. Best five quid I have ever spent.

This is a really fun and helpful book, great for getting started. Makes you really aware of what works in the sitcoms you love to watch. I would definitely recommend this book.

This is short book, but it is jam packed with essential guidance and advice for those who want to make it more likely than not, that the development of their sitcom, will proceed as smoothly as possible.

This is well worth every last penny if writing sitcoms is what you want to do. As entertaining as it is useful.
