Horrible product!! I bought two of them — First one just did not want to connect to wifi so I returned it and bought another one. The second one finally connected (many tries) and I was super excited to use it. I really wanted to like it but it’s just an unreliable product. The idea is good - usu you don’t look for a camera in a speaker. Sound is horrible, you cannot understand a single word of what it is being said, just a lot of muffled voices; picture is ok, you can see good oveall but faces are very blurry. Overall, I’m returning the second one and looking for something else!

Wow what a great product! It is both discrete and Hi-tech. The speaker itself has great sound. The hidden camera is so convenient, because it is portable. I can move it from room of my house to another, no installation needed. I’m already planning on placing on my front porch window when out. You can monitor everything from your phone. The quality of the images is outstanding.It was very easy to set up; it comes with everything you need, from USB port, SD Card to battery.Overall great product, fast shipping, and easy to install/use. I will update this review as i find new ways to use the Speaker Hidden Camera.

The camera and Bluetooth work as advertised and all camera functions and settings may be remotely controlled. When doing setting up, here are some tips based on my experience. Do not confuse the power button on the side for the camera “on/off” button. The camera “on/off” button is beneath the battery cover on the bottom of the unit. The side power button only controls the Bluetooth. If you follow the instructions carefully, the unit will work. But be patient. The automatic reboot part of the WI-FI set-up takes a bit of time. I had to try three times. The problem was my WI-FI router and not the unit. If you encounter a problem, press the reset button next to the battery and start over. Also, don’t be afraid to call the toll free help number listed in the instructions. I called them and then hung up because I was on hold. They called me back even though I didn’t leave a message. By that time, I had the unit working fine. So far, I'm very impressed with the unit. The video is good and the Bluetooth is actually quite usable. Even in good lighting at close distance, the camera is not visible. The micro SD card is also well hidden and the music function also makes the unit quite inconspicuous. The unit shows up on network and on WI-FI scanning as very innocuous as well since there is nothing to identify what type of device this is.

I had been researching hidden cameras for my mom who is in a nursing home. After exploring the many devices/options on the market, I decided on the Bluetooth Speaker Camera since my mom loves music, and her hearing has diminished greatly the last few years. The sound is amazing--the first time I turned the Bluetooth on, my mom looked at me like she was hearing for the first time! Even if the camera did not meet my specifications, I was going to keep it because the audio is so impressive.However, the camera is equally impressive. The snapshot and recording quality is excellent and the 180 degree rotating lens covers the entire room, including the bath area. The audio on the camera is very good, as is the night vision. Since the camera is motion-activated, I am always aware of activity in my mom's room. Even if I am away from my phone, I can view the snapshots of the missed room activity in the alarm setting.The best part of my buying experience was the great customer service. Since I am not very tech-savvy, I needed some assistance with the remote WiFI. My friend 'V' as I call him, made himself available 24/7, no matter which part of the globe he happened to be at the time. Since he knew the device is for my elderly mom, V still sends me occasional text messages asking how I am doing with the camera, and if I have any questions/concerns. He is truly fabulous.I hope my input/comments will be helpful to another consumer new to the hidden camera market, who is looking for a reasonably priced, high quality camera. You won't be disappointed.

As a speaker for purely non-musical applications (e.g. interfacing with Alexa, listening to audio books, white noise) this device is tolerable. I wouldn't recommend it if you're concerned with fine quality sound. As a HD spy camera, the images are less than crisp, and its night vision capabilities are not at all impressive. Best use would be a well-lit location.I was happy with the ability to set the recording duration when triggered by motion, which I haven't been able to do with other products - resulting in long, continuous videos rather than the typical one minute clips all to common on similar products. I gave it an extra star just for this feature. The android app is a pleasure to use with the exception of the camera pan controls, which are sluggish to respond - this results often in the camera stubbornly panning all the way to the left or right extreme, rather than stopping at the desired location.It does, however, serve the purpose as a spy camera, cleverly disguised as a speaker - and it *looks* like a good quality device, even if the performance is less than stunning.

Wow I thought I was unpacking an Alexa when i took it out of the super impressive box. Connects really easy to the phone. Sounds good when playing google music off my phone. I was also really impressed with the video quality of this little thing. Looks just like a speaker but is a secret camera. I love how you can pan left and right and also set it where it goes back snd fourth automatically. This is perfect to watch my dogs while I am away from the house. ~5 Stars for this awesome product!

Update, WEMLB replaced the camera for me. The new camera is working great. I am able to monitor my dogs at home from school, or while in the car. Video is clear, and sharp. The rotating head allows me to see 180 degrees and see where the dogs are and what they are doing while I’m at work..Awesome customer service
