Very good.
The author presents the knowledge clearly and in a progressive fashion making the concepts easier to learn.A You Tube search of the author reveals him to be an exceptional hands on workshop engineer across a broad range of disciplines. An exceptional and natural teacher and communicator.

usefull book
found this book full of usefull information as is usual with Tubal Cain through the Model Engineer magazine. This book is like all of TC,s books easy to read and understand no massive degrees in engineering required. So well done again, the books to buy. Delivery was excellent.

Highly recommended
I have quite a few in this workshop practice series and as usual this one hasn't disappointed. It's a long time since I did tech drawing at school so interpretting model engineering drawings has been a bit of a struggle but this book has helped considerably!

I use AutoCAD for my drawings as I've used it for 20 years now, though I find the book useful to understand drawings shown in other books of the Work Shop Practice Series.

OK for the novice but most will find it too basic.
Not great. A good rudimentary introduction (which is what the Workshop Practice Series concentrates on). I purchased to fulfill my collection of this series, but I didn't glean much from it. For the home tinkerer. If you want more detail, you will need a textbook. There are many on Amazon at really great prices and I think most people would get more for less.
