I've had a slightly older version of this model speaker from JBL for years, and I LOVE the thing! My hubs asked for a Bluetooth speaker for this last Christmas, and I was stoked to get him this one, since mine is still working great after years of use, including many a shower karaoke concert.This little speaker has absolutely lived up to the expectation! For a relatively small speaker, it gives great sound quality and volume. It pairs easily with mobile devices, and it's sturdy enough to handle being dropped and jostled around. Also, it might not be its biggest selling point, but I really love the little clip built into it that makes it easy to hang up in convenient places when there's no flat surface to set it on.My hubs is using his a lot to listen to audiobooks at home, (he prefers "out loud" sound over earbuds) and the narration voices are clear and crisp. He's told me he loves it, and I'm not at all sorry not to have to share mine anymore. This little speaker is a great quality for its price- I highly recommend!

I bought this JBL wireless Bluetooth speaker for my teenage daughter, and it completely blew us away! The sound is crystal clear with great bass, and the volume gets surprisingly loud without any distortion. It’s compact, super easy to connect, and perfect for her room, the beach, or even just hanging out with friends. She loved it so much (and honestly, so did I) that I ended up buying a second one! The battery life is solid, and the build feels sturdy and high quality. Absolutely worth every penny—JBL nailed it with this one!

This speaker easily connects to bluetooth for use, and shocking how loud it is The clip is extremely useful, went on a bike ride and had it clipped to the bike playing music. Love that it's portable and great battery life.

Great, I use to film music videos and clip it on my belt loop, loud and compact. Also good battery life.

For years i had been using my JBL Clip 2 to listen to music when working out or practicing. Overtime the speaker began having connection issues and it wasn’t getting as loud as it used to. The speaker is now almost 9 years old and i figured it was time for an upgrade.The new JBL Clip 5 is extremely loud. I couldn’t believe how loud it got when trying it out. I even walked 100 ft away and still heard my music loud and clear. The speaker has a much larger clip than the 2 and can be attached to larger things. The 5 is also noticeably heavier than the 2 and feels more premium. the clip is solid and sturdy, and the rubber feet on the back of the speaker are larger and cratered in ( which i heard was a common issue with the clip 4). I enjoy the custom eq and find the software very user friendly.This is by far the best speaker i have had, and would recommend it to anyone in the market for one. The price may be higher than similar speakers, but you get what you pay for.

Love the style and convenience! Sounds grwat!!! Price is reasonable. But the 12hr battery life is a big stretch of a claim. Made a point to test this and it lasted about maybe 5-6hrs. I had high hopes at first when the battery remained at 100% for a few uses. It then dropped to 75% after this the battery drained relatively quickly. From 75% to 15% so that's a jump lol . Overall I'm happy. No promise of battery life has lived up to its claims in any product I've ordered so it's not a total shocker.

The JBL Clip 5 is a great little portable speaker. It has a good sound; the case is compact and is take-a-beating durable. The carabiner handle is also a handy toting feature. That being said, when you open the box and are ready to get connected, be prepared to go to Google for basic instructions on how to pair it up with your devices. It's chutzpah to call it a manual. I'm fairly adept with connecting electronic devices, but I just stared at this manual for about twenty minutes, turning it around, using a magnifying glass, etc., as if I could divine a "how to." NADA. I took it to Google and You-Tubed it. My music listening experience is now what I dreamed of as a teenager 65 years ago!
