They're wax (not chalk) and super pigmented, about the size of a jumbo Crayola. Not going to snap unless you only hold onto the very end and push too hard- just be sensible, they hardly need any pressure to make a mark. Easily sharpened with a nail file when the end gets dull. The white would be suitable for resistance art.

I bought these in white to write on my home made slate garden plant stakes and labels, they are great goes on smooth and bright, left them out in the garden all season and rain does not wash it off, when finished it washed of in soapy water, goes a long way after writing on over 30 10 inch slate stakes it has only taken the point off of the top of one of the sticks, so went halves with a friend as I will never use all 6 crayons.

I've been using these chalks to mark wood and concrete and they do a great job.

Good size sticks and hard waring. These will last for ages. I used these in mark out roofing joyce and rafters studing ect. I found the red colour so easy to see compared to pencil marking out face edge or cripples.A little expensive but worth it.

Bought it for a marking a floor at work space for covid. Really do the job

These markers are absolutely superb quality and lovely to use. My class used them on black card with excellent results. They are nice to hold and leave a good, strong mark very easily.
