TBF Combo 3 Piece KIDS Set - Mask + Fins + Snorkel Set - Two Bare Feet

Bought these for our 6 year old son to take to the Caribbean at Easter. He has had great fun from the moment they were delivered - trying out the mask in the bath and walking round the house in the flippers (that part was not a good plan - pulled a muscle in his leg - not really for walking about in!).Excellent on holiday - worked really well. The mask was comfortable, and son also wore it in the swimming pool without the snorkel as we hadn't taken his swimming goggles. No problems getting mask and flippers on and off and mask/snorkel worked well. Pleased with the bag it came in.A few tips - don't let young children alter the straps on the mask by themselves. Son did by just yanking rather than using the clips and it has removed some of the ridges on the plastic strap - which may be a problem when adjusting next year when he is bigger. Remember it can take time to get the snorkelling technique right. Son complained on first day that snorkel was letting in water. Husband tested it and said it was absolutely fine. Second day onwards son had no problems - could be to do with finding it more difficult when you have 3 missing front teeth!Overall - delighted and would buy again.

I purchased this for my son for our summer holidays, I wanted something that would be better than the usual junk sold in holiday resorts but not something that would break the bank. I looked at a number of other sets but eventually settled on this as I felt it offered the best value for money. I was not disappointed. The quality of all items is good, the flippers worked especially well as they have plastic clips on the rubber foot strap making it very quick and easy to get the flipper on and off. It also allows for easy adjustment. Mask and snorkel also worked very well and the mask strap is fairly easy to adjust. Everything comes in a mesh bag which is handy to keep everything together. Everything stood up well to my 5 year old using and abusing it for 2 weeks on our holidays (he had a tendency to stand on the tips of the flippers in the pool to get some extra height which really puts a lot of strain on them, but they took it !).

Fantastic value for money. We bought a couple of children's masks and snorkels, which fitted our 8 and 10 year old boys. Our 12 year old wore an adult one. We took these to Crete and they had an excellent seal, did not leak and were very clear to see through. They enabled us to do some fantastic snorkelling. My only criticism is the flippers which unfortunately had a detachable clip fastening behind the heel. This kept coming off and soon got lost, rendering them unusable. They would be much better if the heel strap was all one piece.

For the money this is a great set really impressed with the quality. The only negative is the heel strap fixing to the flippers can come off easily , we almost lost ours twice in one day because the plastic fixing is designed to be turned 90 degrees to remove/attach it, this happens when you unclick the heel strap and allows the fixing to just fall off. Think i`m going to attach it to some string so we dont loose it. Apart from that my kids loved it.

The mask is good, but the flippers are way too tiny for the stated size. My son has size 1.5 - 2 feet and I bought XL but his heels are hanging off the back. Also, the strap is incredibly difficult ro adjust. I did not bother to send them back, as I want the mask, so I will try to give them away and find another pair.

i will be returning the two sets i brought as the flipper are not well designed the clips on the flipper can easy fall of and float away making the flipper unusable , i have read mikes diving comment about this where they imply the clips need to be clipped in properly and then they will 100% not come off but this is not true , i have put the clips on properly heard the click but has soon as you remove the buckle from the clip the clips are free to rotate again and it only take the slightest bump and the clips just fall of its a really bad desgin and mikes diving should not be claiming things which are not true

Great product, good quality, so good in fact I have ordered the same thing 4 times for 4 grandchildren, they all love them and the flippers and the goggles in particular have encouraged their swimming enormously. Goggles are great, as they are fully adjustable and don't leak. Flippers are adjustable and fit from ages 6 - 12 so will last well. Make sure the child understands how to unclip the flippers, the system works very well as long as they are shown how to unclip the strap rather than twist it from the flipper.
