The setup is simple - the standard Echo Pop power cord is sturdy and coils nicely. I used a straight edge (end of a plastic ruler) to help push the cord down as I coiled - about 5 coils on the outer ring and 3 on the inner). Set the Pop in the cradle before the final connection, then secure any leftover cord. Works like a charm with plenty of room for the top outlet. The Pop sits securely and sounds great!Edit: you can safely mount this upside down. and for a really crazy hack - If you have certain devices/switches that belong to other Smart Home ecosystems you set up routines/automations for Alexa to give commands to a nearby speaker and vice-versa.

I purchased the Echo Pop from Amazon and absolutely love it! Setup was super easy—just connect the wire in the back, mount it on the wall, and plug it in. It stays in one place, out of the way, and helps me use my space wisely. It looks great, works perfectly, and makes life so much easier. I couldn’t be happier!

DOES THE THING YOU BUY IT FOR

Works, but once plug is in unit you can never get it out unless you want to risk breaking the mount and the cord of your echo. So once you push in plug, you’re stuck with it… that’s either a good or bad thing depending on your need.

I am able to place the echo dot and off of the kitchen counter. I wanted it so when I decide to move the device, it will be easy because the cord is wrapped inside of the device.
