Product just now used. The product appears to be outstanding and is absolutely worth the regular price (have seen on Amazon Lightening Deals). I am a little concerned that the included adhesive may not be the best option for my grandchild's platform bed with a particle board platform and will update with my solution if it actually becomes an issue. As noted in at least one previous review, be absolutely certain that this flexible moulding is not stretched at all when cutting to size or your cut will be short. It does exactly what it says and I have-non abraded shins to prove it. Within an hour, it protected my 4 y/o granddaughter from a forearm scrape. Color options are available, but limited. This was not an issue for me, but may be for others. As of now, this is a product I would purchase again without hesitation. I had contacted Edge Armor regarding the product and my latex allergy prior to purchase. It is latex free. My contact has resulted in a couple of e-mails offering any assistance I may need. It is comforting to know this company is anxious to be sure you are totally satisfied with their product and is available if needed. I am comfortable recommending this product to others. I purchased this to help make the horizontal rails of my 9 month old's toy organizer ( ECR4Kids 4 Tier Organizer  less abrasive, as he uses this to help him stand (supervised, of course), and select his toys. With the additional length I also used this on the small Ikea side table we use in his nursery. (This foam stuff costs more than the actual table)Edge Armor is much thicker than the similar foam edge product I purchased for our family room coffee table (also Ikea). It provides more cushion, and covers more of the corners and edges. I purchased the  Bebe Earth  for the coffee table and attached a picture to show the thickness difference (Edge Armor is grey, Bebe Earth is black). Both installed relatively easy, use the same 3M tape for adhesion. The only difference for installation was that the 3M tape was already applied to the corners in Bebe Earth's and I had to manually peel back and stick the tabs to the corners of Edge Armor.Time will tell how long this stuff lasts. It definitely covers the edges of the toy organizer perfectly and so far as mitigated the sharp edges.

I don't normally write reviews but given that I read a lot of reviews and questions before buying this I wanted to pass on my experience to others. We have a granite cobblestone fireplace and hearth so I was not sure if this would stick, but also did not want to try one of the metal frame versions either. I am happy to stay that this did stick well to the cobble stones and mortar hints, even though therapy are quite bumpy and uneven. I only needed about half the length of the guard so I did double up the tape. 3M tape is the real deal though a d it worked well even though I did not follow the instructions and wipe down with alcohol first. They were pretty clean so I just stuck it on. The corner joints are not that tight and have moved a little but that is not a big deal to me. You could get clever with adhesive to make it better. Our 10 month old girl has been walking along the hearth for a couple of weeks now and it seems to be holding up well.

Good stuff! My daughter is now mobile and she spends a large part of her day standing at our low living room window and happily hollering at everyone and everything that she sees.She overestimates her ability to smoothly pivot away from the window to the nearby toybox and has had a few tumbles.After the first such biff, she grazed her cheekbone on the window ledge and was both scared and in pain, it was terrible. I immediately ordered the gray edge armor strip and had it up the next day. It's easy to use and a lovely shade of gray, it actually matches the living room.We've had a few stumbles since, but no more bruises or crying! We're really happy with this and have joked about lining the entire inside of the house.

This was underwhelming. I should have looked closer at the specifics for size, but it wasn't as wide as I envisioned. This product covers about 1 in. of the top and 1 in. of the side of our brick hearth. I wish it covered more area around the edge for greater protection. Be aware that it is not very wide in this regard. The double sided 3M tape does not stick well to brick. This product is ok, but I only feel mildly more protected against my children hurting themselves on the hearth. So, for us, this just wasn't really worth it. It is better than nothing and it was cheap. Fortunately, so far, my children have not touched the bumper or peeled at it, as other reviewers stated. I had to give rules and watch them closely once it was first in place. If a child were to touch or peel it, it would easily be moved or come off the hearth. I am not satisfied with this product, but for $15, it's not worth it to send it back. I don't think it will stick on long term and thus, I do not recommend this product.

It’s overall a good quality product, but it doesn’t stick well to the corners of our natural stone fireplace. I’m sure for smooth surfaces like counters or tables it would be perfect without any damaging effects. Easy enough fix, bought some quality wide 3M double sided tape and it stays on now.

Seems like it will get the job done but it hasn't been abused by my kids yet. The color works pretty nicely with my fireplace so it is not an eyesore to look at either.The 3M strips used for the corners are not really easy to get apart for me, and it wasn't immediately clear why they had a sheet of 4 perforated strips for each corner. (I assumed it was so you can put one on each inside face of the corner.)The instructions are kind of weird too. I recall them saying to install the long guard, then apply the adhesive strip to the corners and mount them, then it said to make sure you complete those instructions in the opposite order otherwise you're going to mess it up.
