I live in the country so I have well-water which is called hard-water. Once in a while the residue builds up and leaves a greasy and itchy feeling that you have to get rid of that regular shampoo doesn't work on. Typically I use an apple cider and water mixture to do the trick but it can be a pain and it takes several tries before actually getting rid of all of the residue. I wish I had taken a picture of how bad my hair was before using this because the before and after pictures would speak for themselves. Needless to say, I was blown away by this product. My hair was so soft and free of any residue build-up. It's absolutely worth the money; especially since you really only have to use it about once a week, which makes it lasts that much longer. I will definitely be buying again when I run out!

Gets the residue out in one wash! I would buy this again and recommend it.

For everyone that says it doesnt bubble.. 1st of all hair that is full of residue wont bubble. I just used this for the 1st time. I have pretty long thick hair, and well water. My blonde hair was looking dull and was definitely over due for a residue removal. Whenever I use a shampoo like this I usually wash it twice. The first time it doesnt bubble hardly at all, the second time I only need a super small amount and it is super bubbly. That's how I know it worked. Also my hair feels much lighter, shinier, and has more bounce to it. Good product over all I'm happy. It does what it is supposed to do. That's all that matters to me. I bought the smaller bottle to try it. It is a little pricier than I would like. I used to use neutrogena but I'm not seeing it in stores anymore. So I thought I would try this. You only use this shampoo every other week or so. For me I wash my hair about 2/3 times a week. So I will use this every 5/6 washes. Even thou it's a small bottle it should last me at least a month or more.

What I liked:It's a clear gel shampoo that did a decent job of removing some build-up from my hair. If you're looking for a softer, more gentle clarifying shampoo then this would be exactly what you're looking for .What I didn't love:It wasn't as clarifying or powerful as some of the other shampoos I've used before. So, if you're in need of a shampoo with strong clarifying power, this may not be the best suit.I like using a clarifying/detox shampoo 1-3 times a month to remove product build-up in my hair. Overall, it's a decent clarifying shampoo that gets the job done, but I've definitely used more powerful ones in the past. It wasn't anything I'd write home about but at least it served its purpose.

Very upset this works so well because now I have to keep buying it and it’s a little pricey. But a little does goes a long way. I have extremely fine, thin, oily hair that has a lot of breakage and I have tried every shampoo/conditioner/treatment/serum under the sun and this is the only wash that cleans my hair without causing more breakage and prevents it from getting oily throughout the day. I am trying the conditioner next. Hope this helps my fellow fine and oily hair gals out that are sick of washing there hair everyday and not getting all the oil out but are restricted in their options for fear of causing even more breakage.

This review is for the anti residue product, not the co-wash. I have been using the "shampoo" for a month and a half. My stylist suggested I try co-washing, but didn't inform me about an anti residue product in conjunction. After the month and a half my hair was really greasy and nasty. I ordered the anti residue product that goes with the unwash system. Omg, did it work. Kinda lathered up, but not like a shampoo would. It's not supposed to be used every time you wash, or else your hair will torn into straw like some other have reviewed, but once a week or so and my hair is silky.Edit: OK, so I was premature with my review. I was diligent with using this properly. My hair is straight caucasian hair. Using both the co-wash and unwash wash made my hair like a greasy mess. I tried it for 3 months to see if it would get better but my hair just got worse. By the end of it my hair started to clump together to form nasty clumped hair.

My hair is fine, but I have a ton and it’s a mix of loose curls and coils. I have a really hard time finding cleansing shampoos that don’t turn my hair into straw or make it limp and dull. I tried this brand and instantly loved it. It smells ahhh-mazing and my hair feels great after. I use it about once a week and the rest of the time I use the this brand’s co-wash. It is also super awesome so I bought the pump size. Hopefully it works for your hair type as well - it’s worth a try!

Great shampoo and nice scent. My hair feels clean, not waxy. Only thing I would change is the shape of the bottle as the small base tips over a lot
